Just wanted to let all of my fellow Seibertronians who ordered their G2 exclusive Bruty from Amazon know that they have started to ship! I got my shipment confirmation email from Amazon at 3:49 (ET) today and he will be here on Friday. I'm especially happy that I got him for only $49.99 thanks to an Amazon gift card! I hope that those of you who also ordered him from Amazon will be getting yours soon too!

noticed I was being charged for him so I checked Amazon and while he hasn't actually shipped yet they say I can expect to see him monday

Mine hasn't shipped yet, but it says "Shipping Soon". (I opted for the free shipping, which usually delays shipment a couple days.) I also noticed it's now listed as "In Stock".

Wait, this is an Amazon exclusives? It's up everywhere in TRUs in Singapore... Odd. Costs $97USD though.

It's not Amazon-exclusive, but it IS store-exclusive. In the U.S., you can only get it from Amazon or BBTS. Sounds like it's a TRU exclusive in other markets.

Kinda happy to add G2 Bruticus to my Classics collection. I like that he looks different than the G1 styled Bruticus too. It makes sense to my mind that he should have changed for a new generation. I'm actually looking forward to these figures despite how terrible others say they are. The separate figures look okay to me. Combined mode can be made to look decent enough too. I am kinda bummed that I got hit with the charge out of the blue though. I guess I had forgotten that it wasn't paid for already. That's on me, still it was a hit.

My G2 Bruty came yesterday! I have to say I actually like him a lot more than I thought I would. I'm definitely pleased to have this version mainly because of his price. The Takara version with the shiny metallic paint looks great, but in no way can I justify spending 4x's as much on it. I'm very content with this.

However, I will say that another reason I like this guy so much is because of the throwback G2 box. Yet, Amazon did a rather lacking job when it came to packing my Bruticus and the box is banged up on the corners. It's not awful, but you can probably expect similar packaging for yours...so just a head's up!

Got the e-mail saying it shipped. Should arrive by next Friday, though I'm saving it for Christmas.

Mine came today but I don't think I'll get time to sit down with the set for a few days. Looks great though.

Got mine a few days ago. Didn't want to open him. Didn't open the sdcc edition either. But went ahead and opened the retail version. Combined mode is ok. Looks cool, but the thighs seem to move in all direction. Makes it hard to stand. Individually, these figures or the entire hasbro deluxe line sucks. Seriously, I was the happiest adult when I was about to open each one to play and combine. Disappointment! Each figure felt like those cheap Chinese Ko you buy from the swap meet. He'll, I get more satisfaction playing with them. I didn't spend $75 plus for his piece of ****. Well, not gonna waste anymore money on these. My recommendation? dont take them apart. you'll be upset. Might as well buy masterpieces and super gt. at least I know he qualities are there.

This is a beautiful looking package in hand and thus deserves to be MISB displayed and marveled at IMHO. I did find the FOC figs at TRU which I have not opened up just yet. I will be tempted to merge them just once but they will be stand alone figs.

That's precisely what I was thinking. I opened the individual to play and display separately but such horrible plastic individually. Many of the figures are hollow, not solid at all. They look and feel very cheap

Mine just arrived. I'm so glad I got this one instead of the retail version. The colors are so much better, and the packaging is great. Keeping it MISB is tempting, but I don't think I can resist opening it. I'll keep the box for sure and may end up displaying it in-box in the long term, but for now I need to open it and play with it.

Of course, toys are meant to be opened and played with..st least once. Go ahead. Ease your temptation.
