I'm not sure, but I know it's an emotional thing. I've heard people say that they let Malik die, because they were on pacifist runs. But when they saw her executed, or when they saw her body stripped of augments on a back alley operating table, the pacifist runs ended.

I can understand. It was kind of galling, seeing her by that bastard heavy trooper and hearing his snarky remarks. I wasn't about to lose my pacifist trophy, though. But I did make sure to save her after that in every subsequent playthrough.

Besides, the cutscene you get if she survives is pretty cool. Spyboy and Flygirl. 8)

Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker

So after hearing about Project Peace Walker, the first metal gear, I headed to the base where Dr. Strangelove is developing the A.I. for PPW in a lab hidden in some Mayan ruins. And it turns out the recording of The Boss Naked Snake was listening to at the beginning of the game, was actually PPWs A.I. system Strangelove was developing. So I defeated the Chrysalis mech, headed north because they moved the A.I. and ran into the Cocoon mech. I defeated that, went to destroy the A.I for PPW and got caught. I snuck out of their jail and went to destroy the A.I. again. It was too late. So I fought Peace Walker and won, but it didn't stay down. Now I'm in a U.S. base in Lago Cocibolca headed that's overrun with Russian soldiers.

MineCraft

a game that brings the old memories back, a total sandbox with no real goal, and Creepers, that's what i am looking for.
generated many worlds until the perfect world was generated, a village right next to me (Villages are a rare sight in this game) nearby a forest with all the supplies of of wood i need, a bunch of animals to feed me, near a desert and a Jungle, what could i ask more then that, this is the place i spawned in, i am not looking forward to moving somewhere else, at least for now.

I Build my small little shack, at the beginning it had only a crafting table and a furnace, then i created a bed to sleep inn, so i can skip the night, the game has a day and night cycle, at the day the game seems to be a happy place with Cows and Pigs, Chickens and Sheep's, open plains, jungles and Forests, but when the night comes, the game becomes a zombie survival herror (aaaaaahhhhh) with Zombies shambling around the place, skeletons shooting me with arrows, Spiders and their....uhhh...strange noises, but the worst of all, Creepers!! (SSssSsss....) who blow you and themselves, blowing up your house, burning your friends and making craters here and there, while Zombies and Skeletons burn at the sunlight, Spiders become passive at day, Creepers don't have a problem, they move around, blowing everything you hold!

I also started a Mine and a mini-farm, the mine is successful, i found some coal and iron (which i used to create an iron helmet), but the farm is growing slowly.

i built two extra housed for the Village next to me, if they grow enough, an Iron Golem will appear to protect them, he also be my pal, killing zombies for me, and i will have more people to trade with ;)

no super-structures yet, no massive castle, but that's a good start.

Well...She's cuter than Peter Sellers, at least.

DC Universe Online:
I made a new character, named him Doctor Mysterious, a name I am shocked hasn't been taken yet. (A friend of mine reasoned that it was so obvious a name, no one tried it, assuming it had already been taken) I'll have to get a screen shot up as soon as I can because he is, bar none, the coolest character I have ever designed. I gave him the Vanguard of the Heavens/Cosmic skin, and set it so it glows both red and blue, then gave him about as much clothing as He-Man in order to show it off. It looks spectacular.

Vanguard of the Heavens is what it's called in the Marketplace, which is where you buy it. I've had it for a while now, bought it on impulse, but I never really used it. Then I was playing around with another character of mine, and noticed the skin glowed multiple colors, learned to manipulate it, and then used that to make Doctor Mysterious there. Used right, it is most certainly one of the coolest-looking skins int he game.

I'm assuming that's from Portable Ops because 1. PO is the only Metal Gear game I don't have. 2. I haven't seen that mech before and 3. from reading things, I know PO comes before PW.

Are you talking about after I defeat PPW again or after I catch Zadornov a bunch of times? I already had to track him down like 3 times so far.

Also. Do you think they're ever going to update the Metal Gear Solid 4 Data Base? That covers every game out so far except Peace Walker. Maybe after Ground Zeroes come outs?

DC Universe Online:
You ever give a real evil laugh? Not going "muahahaha!" comically like that, that's not an evil laugh, I mean a real laugh brought on by something that only a super villain would find funny.

I just had one of those.

So, I was playing as one of my villains, this one being a healer, and I'm outside the Hospital in Metropolis, waiting for Bizarro to spawn. I spy a hero fighting a few Lexcorp Security, who are non-hostile towards me...and I heal them. Not the hero, the Lexcorp goons. For a decent amount, too. On PvE too, so he can't stop me. The hero went down (I made sure to do the coup de grace myself, so he'd be forced to go to rally) and I laughed my evil ass off.

I bragged about it in chat, too. No slap on the wrist for me, just a lot of congratulations. And someone pointing out that the same thing could be done for Wanted missions, faction specific ones, like Solomon Grundy (Who is non-hostile to villains) or Green Arrow and Black Canary. (Who are, naturally, non hostile towards heroes)

I have some horrible, horrible plans ahead. Mind you, I won't abuse this terrifying new power, because that could be considered griefing and I don't want to get banned or anything. But every once and a while, maybe I'll make things much, much harder for the opposing faction.

I want them too, but I dont think they can add anymore. It already had all that info in it when MGS4 came out, it was built to fill you in on everything up to that point. Peace Walker came out later. Thay could make another database for ground zeroes, and have it fill in everything from Peacewalker to Rising, and everything in between. I doubt they will though.

And yeah, after you find him the fifth time, **** goes down.

Dragon Age Origins: Witch Hunt DLC
Well, that's the end of the story. After awakenings, tracked down Morrigan in an anti-climactic DLC. Didn't get to follow her through the Portal though. I had a romance and a kid with her, but I guess she still felt bitter that I dumped her for Leilani. Geez Morrigan, Zevran got over it. :-$

You know that quest I did for the Hammer of Might, Volendrung ages ago and it was bugged so the hammer didn't appear?
Well, I went back there yesterday after doing the quest for the Ebony Mail and there it was, on the ground, BEHIND the alter.

I love this hammer. My god I love it. It's like, as tall as I am.
I love the reaction you get from the guards too.
"Thats a big hammer! What are you planning to do, knock over a house?" And it's spikey. And it glows. Seriously, where is there a reason NOT to love this weapon?

Be forewarned. When I had that hammer, it would never stay in any weapon racks, anywhere.

I don't display weapons on a regular basis.

Asura's Wrath

This game is...something.

It's really not a game. I don't feel right calling it that. It's more like an Interactive Anime.

I beat Wyzen, wich is basically just a fat guy with a massive gauntlet on one arm. He transforms, twice. One, and he's about the size of a mountain. He launches missiles at you wich you need to reflect back. Also, you blow up his flagship with your hand blasts, because why not? Once you throw him into space, he transforms again, and becomes as big, if not bigger than the earth itself, and tries to flatten you with one finger. At wich point, I accepted the challenge, and beat the crap out of his fingertip with my new arms, all 6 of them, untill he blew up in outer space.

Next was some old monkey king looking guy, who you basically crush by hugging his escape pod and crushing him from the outside.

Along with quite a few massive gohma, and my old Sensei, Augus.

Augus, you fight on the moon, but only after a day of drinks and bath. He is a wise man, here are some of his words:

"You eat good food, then fight, you drink fine wine, then fight, you sleep with beautiful women, hell, fight with beautiful women! THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS TO LIVE!"

Having that said, I tried to grab a service ladies breast when I was in the hot tub, and he got up and punched me in the face. Earning me the trophy "Denied"

during what was probably the world's most overly dramatic sword stab, I was impaled from the moon to the earth's surface. I lost alot of my arms in the atmosphere. All but one, wich was also lost when I punched his sword to bits, took what was left in my mouth, and sliced him clean in half.

I got up to the point were I utterly and totally lose my **** and destroy an entire fleet of intergalactic warships from heaven with fiery blasts from my bare fists.

So yeah, so far, this game is batshit crazy. I love it. Also, Okami makes a cameo.

Patapon
I'm f***ing addicted to this s***. And it's so hard. I can keep a rhythm and I have no problem reaching a fever, but I can't keep it at all. But I beat the second T-rex looking thing and got the object that can summon rain. I don't know the names of these creatures besides the Patapons. It's a pretty good game.

Replaying missions on Sleeping Dogs. Trying to get a perfect score on both police and triad is not as easy as I thought. That said, the fighting and shooting mechanics are really fun, so I'm not going to complain.

The car races are a bit annoying, though.

Can't wait to get RE 6 next week.

Started RE 6 last night. Doing Leon's campaign now: Chapter 3 on amateur mode. I wanted to go for normal mode, but the controls were kind of unintuitive; wanted to get a feel of the gameplay and practice first before returning to normal mode.

Not liking the weapon-toggling controls, and the way the red dot sight sways around is annoying. Even inexperienced shooters don't aim that badly, and Leon's a professional!

The ability to move while aiming is not as helpful as I thought; too slow to avoid attacks.

While the battle and movement controls are fine, the inventory system is takes some getting used to. Still prefer the RE 5 inventory.

Got Autumn Watchtower out of the way. I hear that under certain conditions, it gets bugged. Badly.

Ever since the quest were I killed alduin, dragons havn't really been popping up all that often. Yesterday, I killed an elder dragon, a blood dragon, and a regular dragon, all over the course of about 10 minutes. I think it was my location.

these dragonbones and scales and heartscales are really starting to pile up. I know the Heartscales are for some quest or something, so I may as well be prepared, right?

Also, check out this guy, who beat skyrim. with only his fists

Mega Man Xtreme 2: Soul Eraser
GAME OVER BEATEN. Sigma has been defeated once more, X and Zero have saved the day, and more low-quality translations pass the screen (with grammatical errors no less). I know Capcom is notorious for that but come on, some are bad even for their standards (Reploid Research "Lavatory" comes to mind...)
Anyway, this game was a trip. When you pick this rare gem up, don't expect a straight port. New levels, old Mavericks have new attacks, Iris from X4 makes an appearance due to it being set between X3 and X4, the parts system debuts and it has a fully playable Zero.

Right, back to looking for Mega Man V for the Game Boy, that damn game keeps eluding me. :BANG_HEAD: In the mean time, Kid Icarus: of Myths and Monsters will provide some fun.

Just met Sofia and retrieved the 1st Masyaf key.
On a much more self-rewarding note, finally managed to track and kill the cowardly templar den commander. That guy was a pain.

Spider-Man: Edge of time
Loving this game. The gameplay itself is flawed and I've experienced visual glitches and audio cutouts, but the story and voice-acting is surprisingly good to this point.
Just defeated future Black cat and attempting to have the two spider-men switch places in the time-stream.

RE 6

Completed all campaigns. At 25+ hours, it's a pretty short game despite having 4 different character viewpoints to follow, and seven characters to use.

The Jake stage was IMO the coolest. Being able to use your hands to fight adds more versatility in combat. That Ustanaz this is probably the hardest boss in the whole game though (to me, at least).

What I could do without are the stupid QTE's. Damn button inputs are so unintuitive and nearly impossible to do in time. The frakking camera also works against you, disorienting you while you're struggling with the damn controls and trying to figure out which way to go. Escaping from the underwater tunnel in the last part of Chris' campaign was the worst experience. Both Piers and Chris look the same with the camera pulled back (short hair, olive drab clothing), and oftentimes I wasn't sure who was the one I was controlling.

Next is to try out The Mercenaries. Not sure if it'll be as fun a using Sheva and her infinite-arrow bow in RE5, but it's worth a try.

it's just the beginning, you will really the hate the others....

Recently i was playing a lot of game that i didn't have time to post my progress in them...

Half Life 2 Episdoe 2

i replayed that game twice just for developer commentary, and the second one for the the garden gnome achievement, i am not a fan of the ending, Valve did a good job in killing Eli but i didn't like that it all ended with me on the floor and Alyx sobbing next to her father's corpse, Half Life 2's Ending was better, it made me wonder what will happen next, and Episode 1 also did a good job.

Batman Arkham City

finished the whole game again in story mode plus, got all those friggin Riddler trophies, finished all side mission, Harley DLC challenges, 100% completion!

Crysis 2

i played a lot through this game, the last fights with the ceph made me like "weph!", now that civilians are escaping New York through trains the ceph will do anything to stop the, they sent that big Tripod Bio Machine thingy, i attempted top beat it, but it kills me, especially with his friends spotting me throwing a C4 and alert him to shoot me before i detonate it! i will try a different strategy then the one i am using already next time I play

Star Wars: The Old Republic:
I saw 1337W422102 playing this on Steam, and somehow the conversation ended up about how, despite many things, the game is actually really awesome. Like how Jim Raynor is the Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Or how the only voice actor not in this game is Mel Blanc. It got me wanting to play the game, but I didn't have quite enough to pay the $30 for 60 more days in-game. I did have exactly enough for the Deluxe Addition, which adds 30 more days, though, as well as a bunch of neat in-game items. And it'll entitle me to more bonuses when the game goes F2P!

So far the only two I've put real effort into are my Consular and Bounty Hunter (Though I did spend a reasonable amount of time as my Smuggler and Knight) getting them to the end of Quesh (Turns out, all problems can be solved by throwing enough Jedi at it) and Balmorra respectively. I'm planning on playing enough of my Inquisitor so I can get to the Foundry flashpoint, because damn it, a certain meatbag-hating assassin is a boss in there and I want to see him again.
