Ghost Recon: Future Soldier

I played the campaigne. It was a fun game especially the level where you're by yourself to sneak into the Russian prison to rescue the Russian president. And I liked the gunsmith thing too. If companies start applying the gunsmith thing to more games, I wouldn't mind it at all.

Skyward Sword

Beat the Skyview Temple (F*cking Skulltulas) and beat Ghirahim for the first time. Getting a Freeza vibe...

Anyway, I found Skyloft's "Monster" and have landed in Eiden. Love how its all from Twilight Princess. I wonder if its scientifically possible for the land to evolve constantly and shift enough to create the landmarks and so on we see in games that take place later? I mean it DOES. Eiden Volcano is Death Mountain in later games, and Dragonroost Island in Windwaker, right?
Its fun to think about...

Also, Constant unbreakable floor of clouds accept certain light beams that hold open holes.

Blue skies when on the ground.....

Eldin. Remember, Eldin, Lanayru and Faron.

I admit, the last one is a stretch, but it was what they were going for.

If Castlevania can do it, why not Hyrule? Also Earth itself does that as well. Like, right now. Just, you know, very, very slowly.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution:
Blew up the Shipping Office in Hengsha, then got into the stasis pod whatchamacallit. Then, loaded up the Missing Link DLC. Picked up the retinal aug, now I have to take it to Quinn so he can readjust it.

So it's EL-din? I always read it Eidin.
But yeah, thats what I was going for with the whole geographical thing. Each Zelda game (with a few exceptions) takes place thousands of years before or after the next, so its totally possible. Wich is awesome.

The issue, though, is Ocarina is Time, which is firmly sandwiched between Skyward Sword and Twilight Princess, and also doesn't use those names for the provinces.

Is the story for the game good? And have you read any of the Injustice comics? I wanna read the comics before I start watching the story on Youtube. I'd get the game but from past experience from the last Mortal Kombat game and the Tekkens, I'm not good at fighting games when you have an opportunity to juggle people. I don't like games like that because 1. I suck at them and 2. I get juggled all the time and it's like, "How do I f***ing fight back?" I know there's the pause when your health gets half way down but oh look, someone pulled off a sucker punch and I'm being juggled again. :-x

Sorry for the rant. back to my question. Is the story for the game good?

From what I understand, it's basically the Justice League episode "A Better World."

Gears Of War: Judgement

I picked up Gear of War: Judgement about a month ago I thought it was a decent. The ncampaign is pretty good, but the MP is mediocre compared to the other gears games but overall I think its about a 7/10.

Poker Night 2:
After the game came out, I can confirm that, yes, a certain beloved character does feature a new voice actor. I'm sorry to admit, but...

William Kasten is not playing Max in this.

Also the guy with the shotgun, what's his name. Rage, fanboys, rage for me!

Truth be told, ill-advised changes in voice actors aside, the game itself is pretty sweet compared to the first. The banter is stronger than ever, featuring increased interaction, even GLaDOS gets in on it, as Max, despite not being a player. (He was apparently banned from the table for eating the poker chips, but still takes part in banter from time-to-time. Also he gives Claptrap a wet willy that doesn't work out for either of them)

And Omaha is actually pretty fun when you realize that no, you can't use more than two of the cards in your hand. (And yes, everyone unfamiliar with Omaha raged about this before they were told the rules; I raged at first, but I figured out the rules myself)

Right now I've got everything but the Portal-themed deck and table, as far as progress goes.

Brock: "I must not fear, fear is the mind-killer, fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration..." *A few rounds of betting later, after scaring everyone else off the pot.* "Fear's a bitch, isn't it?"

Oh yeah, the bosses are nothing short of win in that game, especially Kolotkos.

BeastProwl wrote:and followed that up by beating the secons silent realm. Horrifying ****...

I still hate Silent Realms, so, so very much. A tip? There's a really, really good guide on GameFAQs, (This one, to be exact) follow it to the letter, and you'll beat each Silent Realm on the first try.

BeastProwl wrote:Now Im off to...well to beat the next filler arc...

Oh, trust me, the next part might be filler-ish, but it's nothing short of awesome. To wit you get that Time Boat I mentioned earlier, and also you have to fight a Robot Zombie Pirate. Also you get the bow, which I HIGHLY recommend upgrading fully as soon as humanly possibly, it is by far one of the strongest weapons in the game.

Poker Night 2

Beaten the first bounty challenge, which for me was Claptrap. Unlocked Handsome Jack's mask for use in Team Fortress 2 (which when combined with a hat on the Spy looks hysterical)

Skyward Sword

ZOMBIE ROBOT PIRATE BATTLE!!!

Sorry, had capslock on...

Beat the 3rd silent realm and am about to quench the thirst of a really massive frog statue.
EDIT-
Beat Ghirahim (lord of the dance!) and upgraded my sword to god-tier. Literally.

fought off The Imprisoned with Groose, went back in time, Zelda's a bitch in a good way, par the usual...

Now, off to find the sky god, Levias.

BEATEN!

Holy Crap were to begin...
That damn "Song of the Hero" Arc will probably be talked about for years the same way the Triforce Shards are still being talked about today, though honestly the three dragons and Levias make it all worth it. In windwaker its just "oh look, another chunk of gold, only 5 more!" So it wasn't as bad.

Akuma Demise was a very nice final battle, especially RIGHT AFTER whooping Ghirahim on his pompous ass.The lightning was a nice and EXTREMELY creative touch.

My only overall issue was the lack of story elements that tie into future games. Demise, The Sword, and The Triforce were really the only things besides "Rescue the princess with macguffins" that tie into later titles. That, and Zelda's father, but that's very vague.

Overall though, instant classic in my book. Very well done game!

Guess again.

Borderlands 2:
Got Gaige up to level 53. This pimp E-Tech Shotgun I got really makes things easier, along with an orange Rocket Launcher. Also, even though his DLC isn't out, Class mods for Krieg are already dropping.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma:
BEATEN! Good times were had. Now to get ready for Sigma II.

I forgot about Beadle (dont shop there too often) and the two temples of time. I knew the whole bird statue thing, but never made the connection, nice. And Shiek's harp, again never made the connection.

The rest of them though just seem like nods, homages, and references, albeit really clever ones.

Aside from Levias being a Wind Fish? Literally the entire premise of Link's Awakening? Aside from that, what did you expect, them to just start name dropping things that haven't happened yet?

Namedropping? No. Stronge tie-ins to future events? Yes.

Having the original Majora thrown in as a boss at some point, or a slight glimpse into the Realm of Twilight, something like that.

(I personally count the Silent Realms separate from this, as they are trials from the godess)

Im fine with how the game ended, I just wish there were stronger connections.

Majora would have most likely have been from Termina, not Hyrule, and it's never fully explained when the Dark Interlopers made their move on the Triforce, but in all likelyhood it hasn't happened yet. (I had always assumed it was the war mentioned in Ocarina of Time, the one that took Link's parents)

Well, since were getting off canon anyway...
Majora is from the edge of the plain of reality. The legend went, if you could snatch away his armor you would gain a great and terrible power.

Majora's Mask was carved from Majora's armor after Majora died. Years later, the events of Majora's Mask took place.

However, if this is treated as canon, it presents an issue. How the hell did the mask come to life? For that matter, it was left in a crumbling plain on the edge of time, how did the mask sailsman get it?

Its also been some time since ive played, so i'm out a few details, but Majora is a mystery to me.

How it came to life? Magic.

How the Salesman got it? He's a creepy interdimensional mask salesman. It was, previously, used by an unnamed ancient tribe for various rituals, who were supposedly based out of Stone Tower Temple.

That just adds to his creepyness in all honesty, but makes sense. Wich reminds me, Majora's Mask takes place in one of three seperate timelines. It would be pretty neat if they converged all three.

Transformers Prime

Found all the relics, unlocked everything.

Skyward Sword
Mr Thunder Dragon here isn't pulling any punches. This is real difficulty. I like that, its been a while.

Also, per Shadowman's suggestion, I upgraded my Bow to its highest grade, though I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. Its description hints at something like 'Raining down on my enemies" or...something.
I'll fire it later tonight.

Yeah, right here. The problem is, until Hyrule Historia, no one even realized that there were three timelines, most people believed in a maximum of two. It's not that they're incompatible, it's that they're so indistinguishable that combining them would go completely unnoticed.
