What I'd do is just go nuts, do anything, try everything. The first run is a practice run. The second is where you do everything for real. Kind of like sex, but with less dragons...well...not the same amount of dragons, at least.

I'm currently in a Last Of Us induced coma lol, I just picked this game up a few days ago, and I'm in love with it. I skipped food and hygiene to play it. Anyway, I just finished my 2nd playthrough on Easy +, and now I'm moving on to normal. :)

Just last week I beat Hitman: Absolution, it's a pretty good game. Now I'm working on the contracts

Jarl isn't his name, it's his title. It's the Scandinavian equivalent of an earl.

Dragon Age Origins:
Playing this over with my new PC. Saved the Circle of Magi, but as far as story quests go that's about it. Working on Orzammar right now. Also I finished Soldier's Peak, and got the Starfang Longsword which, combined with the Dragon Blood armor, means I am officially done equipping my main character. Also I've been boning Morrigan.

Add me on PSN so u can get the "play a friend made contract" trophy.

Skyrim

Level 7. I got the dragon stone and beat the first dragon (I already forgot the name of it). Then I did the trials of the grey beards and got the horn from that chick. I got attacked by the dragonborn cultists from the dlc and now I'm about to do the mission to go after the f*** who sent them to assassinate me. Nobody puts a green light on me and gets away with it [-( I got the cultist robes to try to go all incognito. I hope it works. Question. Is there a way to stash my stuff so I don't lose things? I'm liking this cultist robes and now I want the Redoran armor

I...would recommend you hold off on that. Dragonborn isn't meant for lower-level characters. And "the f*** who sent them" is the first Dragonborn, who has far more experience and skill than you.

Wigglez wrote:Nobody puts a green light on me and gets away with it [-( I got the cultist robes to try to go all incognito. I hope it works

It won't. There's only one mission in the game where you can go incognito like that, and it isn't the Dragonborn DLC.

Put some good time into this today so making good progress.
Short summary is that I ran into my friend, who attacked me. Ran into him again and found the truth regarding the 2 castles. Headed upstairs to find a kidnapped girl but Death stole her out from under me again. grr...

Castlevania: Judgement
Trying my best to knock this out out in true story mode.
Having already beaten with Simon and Alucard, have since beaten with Trevor Maria, Sypha, Eric,Shanoa, Grant, cornell. Just 5 more to go and I tick this off my to-do list.
BTW, this game has an awesome opening track. Look up 'Darkness of Fear'
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Loot everything. pick up all the gold you see on anyone you kill, check every chest for gold, pick up anything with a hundred gold or more to sell it. Don't buy anything except health potions, if you need arrows, pick them up any time you see them on the ground.

And now, Shadowman's totally awesome money-making stat-raising method:

Step 1: Find the Transmutation spellbook, you can find a copy in Halted Stream Camp. (And get VERY intimate with that site, it will tell you all you need to know and then some) This spell will turn Iron Ore into Silver Ore, then Silver Ore into Gold Ore.

Step 2: Buy all the Iron Ore you can (NOT iron ingots!) and mine any vein of it you see. (iron ore is very cheap, a mere 6 gold even with low speechcraft) Transmute the hell out of it, then smelt the Gold Ore into Gold Ingots. This will raise your Alteration stat, evenif you don't use it, it puts you that much closer to level-up.

Step 3: Take those gold ingots to the nearest Forge (There's a smelter and forge next to each other right inside Whiterun) and make a metric assload of Gold Rings. This will raise your Smithing skill by a healthy amount.

Step 4: This part is optional, but if you have any Soul Gems, try enchanting the rings. it'll increase their value and increase your Enchanting stat.

Step 5: Sell 'em, sell 'em all to whoever will buy them. This will increase your gold, and Speechcraft skill.

You're welcome.

Beat the game and got the best ending by wearing both trinkets and obtaining all of you-know-who's remains. Great game. Now to move on to...

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow
Heard nothing but good things about this game and it's off to a great start. Just met Graham for the first time.

Trine 2
Started the game. Cleared the tutorial and level 1 (by beating a giant snake).

DarkSiders 2
Cleared the Forgelands by reviving and then defeating a giant Stone Mech. Not sure if I'm grateful of cheated that the final epic strike was a cutscene instead of a playable attack. Just entered the land of the dead.
Returned to the Forgelands to track down some side-missions. Defeated a Mad construct named Ghorn. I was outclassed (I was level 12, all enemies were level 17) but made it work.

Dragon's Lair Trilogy
Ouchy. This one hurt. Set myself to infinite lives ( :saint: :saint: ) just because I wanted to play it all the way through. Dragon's Lair 1 was tough but fair.
Dragon's lair 2 is cheap and annoying. Finally gave up after repeatedly dying because the sequences were ridiculously extended and one failure dropped you back over 30 button presses. Just gave up and watched the 'movie' version. Same for Space Ace.
Meh, $10 on pre-owned so not too cheated.

Lego Batman 2
Started the game. Defeated a whole batch of Villains and chased the Joker around. Had to repair Robin's helicopter but was then treated to a fun on-rails batplane shooting scene. whee!
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.

Anyone played Splinter Cell - Black List yet?

Been a fan of the games since the first one, but the fact that they replaced Michael Ironside with a much younger guy made me hesitate. I've just gotten so used to Ironside's gravelly tone that a young guy voicing Fisher just seems wrong.

Overall, though, would anyone recommend getting this game?

If you like it enough it shouldn't matter too much. They replaced David freaking Hayter in MGS5 and I'm not going to hesitate to buy it on release because of that, even if it make me die a little inside.

Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner

OK, so im just at the part were im fighting Leo and nothing whatsoever makes a single shred of sense. I know about the translation errors but good god man! This is just, I mean...
The cutscenes are nice, and so far the gameplay and bosses have been better, i'll give them at least that much...

A. This is not the first time David Hayter didn't return to voice Big Boss, so it's not that huge a deal to me. (And far from the first time an actor in the series has been replaced, isn't that right, Grey Fox? Colonel Campbell? Master Miller? Eva? Sigint? Ocelot? Raiden?)

B. They replaced him with Kiefer freaking Sutherland and that's pretty cool.

DC Universe Online:
Beat the Family Reunion and Brothers in Arms alerts on both hero and villain. Meanwhile, my mains are CR89 and CR88.

Borderlands 2:
Beat the main story. Of course, one of the guys I was playing with didn't hear me say "Don't shoot Jack" repeatedly, even with my total lack of volume control. We all trashed the **** out of him for doing so, at least until we were distracted by the Conference Call that dropped.

Well, at least they retained David Bateson in Hitman Absolution. I doubt anyone can do 47's cold, matter-of-fact dialogue like he can.

BTW, I heard that this sudden trend in changing voice actors could be due to game companies shifting toward motion-capturing for the cutscenes in their games. Apparently, the more aged ones are unable to act out the actual scenes in mocap or something. Frankly, I don't see the problem, as you could easily get a stuntman for the job.

That's what I heard, at least.

Anyways, thanks for the recommend. I think I'll buy Splinter Cell.

Downloaded this game from PS+ a week ago just beat the main story, it's pretty fun, not as realistic as GTA but I think that's a good thing.

I also recently downloaded Saints Row: IV and Splinter Cell: Black List which I will be playing tomorrow :)

Finished it over the course of a couple days. Still going through challenges and whatnot to get all of the upgrade unlocks.

Minor spoiler here, but you're given the Dubstep Gun about two hours in. Instantly became my primary weapon. With full upgrades, it can destroy anything and everything with bluish-purple wubs of explodey goodness.

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction

Just started into this one. Only on the third or fourth planet. The Groovitron is my best friend right now.

The pogo bounce seems to have some hit detection issues. Not sure if the original game was like that but it gets frustrating to get hit when you were sure you were going to hit the enemy.

I finally got around to playing this, it's a pretty fun game, not too much replay value, but a pretty fun game none the less.

And Splinter Cell is another one of Ubisoft's PC releases that doesn't work how it should, I've had to reinstall it, look online a lot of things that I shouldn't have to do. So my playing of this game is delayed yet again :/

OK, screw this. Killing that AI thing with grabby bots was tedious enough, and carrying lil miss "I cant pilot cuz A.I" up the tower was even worse, but this "turn left, turn right" level is driving me up the wall.

I can manage to make it to the second arena area, then those stupid grabby bots spawn and team-spam-suplex me to death. There seems to be about as much bad here as there is good if I'm honest, and alot of that bad isn't even the translation, its the gameplay. Can I please NOT lock onto everything? No? Well, okay..

Completed the Safehouse mission. Stealth-KO'ed as much as I can, but the police station part necessitated a few kills, no thanks to the damn dogs. Should have gotten the Sonar Radar upgrade for my goggles. Seeing through walls will definitely help you sneak around better.

Scored high on Ghost style, and minimally on Panther and Assault styles.

On to the next mission.

Picked this up, started playing like crazy. It's actually really good, not Symphony of the Night amazing, but still far better than, say, Lament of Innocence.

Just completed Chapter 3, killing Cornell, Lord of the Werewolves and star of a crappy N64 game, getting me the Sprint Shoes for my trouble. Went back to chapter 2 and picked up an upgrade that will let me summon more fairies that oh my GOD I'd link you to a picture, but I'd get banned, they're all completely nude and...ah, fully detailed. Okay so I was level 14. But I did some s*** in Winterhold and got arrested. I broke out of the cage I was in and fought the ice creature. He was hard. I left the prison and found 3 more of those ice creatures running at me so I went back in the prison but they followed me into the prison, surrounded me and then just beat the hell out of me. And the worst part is, that's where it auto saved. So every time I died or just loaded the game, it was me going back in the prison and getting beat up...

EDIT* I made a new character. I'm a level 10 Wood Elf now. I already bought and furnished a house in Whiterun and just joined the Thieves Guild again (I like the armor). I'm mainly working on my archery and sneaking a little.

Weapon: Null-Ray Rifle
Splinter Cell - Blacklist

Completed the Chicago mission as well as Kobin's first side mission. The sonar goggles are probably among the top five most useful tools in SC. Indispensable of you're more of a Ghost player.

Got the prototype SCS-400S, and it's a thing of beauty. With a scope mounted and loaded with match-grade ammo, it's almost a good as a sniper rifle, but more versatile.

Yet to try out the tri-rotor and its EMP darts. Should be fun.

Weapon: Black Magic
CastleVania: Lords of Shadow
Started the game. Would have started it yesterday but needed to wait for the download to finish. sigh...
Made my way through the bog, defeating a swamp troll and obtaining the hooksho-ah I mean the Hook tip.
Been a while since I played a linear action game. Feels very... off since I'm switching between it and Darksiders II at the moment.

speaking of which...

DarkSiders II
In the land of the dead. Made it through a cave with many shiny chests that I couldn't reach. No tool for them so I'm assuming they are backtrack bait. Made it onto the Lord of the Dead's ship through a cool running-on-flying-serpents'-tails scene that probably would have been fun to actually play. Reached the throne room but was told I couldn't go into until I proved myself. Off to the arena to kick some tooshy.
Next up on Pimp My Jeager.
