Well, I preordered $330 worth. Ouch. Hopefully the Hasbro versions will be the same as the Tak/Tomy versions and I can cancel all of these. On the other hand, I wouldn't be upset if Grapple were more orange and less yellow in his "United" incarnation. That would make me spring for that one.

Well, we technically already knew about Kup. As for the other 3, I have this to say, or should I say, emote: A Rumble and Frenzy? Now I oughtta kick myself for getting PE-01 Shadow Warrior a year ago now. Can't wait to see the first images!

say, if the Rumble/Frenzy are just repaints of each others, will the alternate head mode for the mold be Eject/Rewind?

I'm really excited about Kup and Wheeljack!! I have waited so long for Wheeljack. Rumble and Frenzy will be really cool too. I hope they are their classic representations and not the WFC versions. So happy I skipped out on the PE repaints.

I see. That means I get hit twice as hard, because the Canadian dollar still isn't at par... I guess import TFs are an unaffordable luxury to me now.

I'm buying Frenzy and Rumble, no matter how they look. Praying that they'll fit into WFC Soundwave's chest compartment. I do wonder what kind of alt mode they'll have; Cybertronian hard disk drives?

Me too. I have no interest in War for Cybertron version (ditto Soundwave, Prime etc) so if these guys aren't G1 syle then they aint getting bought. My wallet will be happy but I won't.

He does, especially after having to wait such a long time for a new figure but I think there is a 0% chance.
He'll be a repaint of Tracks with a new head like 'Blurr' was from Drift.

I'm still undecided on Perceptor due to his strange alt mode but I think we have to look at the big picture and realize it was made as a truck because they were already planning ahead to repaint possibilities (Kup would just about work).
Reflector is NOT a truck!!! That's a stupid idea for a repaint but I'm glad that Reflector is going to get a new toy.

It would fit nicely for Hoist/Trailbreaker but with 'Trailcutter' in the Legends line I think we can unfortunately forget about it


PS Everyone remember how weak the Dollar is and how strong the Yen is just now. That's why the prices have gone up

Hah, I thought Wheeljack must be in the works when we found out about Jazz, Windcharger and Trailbreaker. I think that finishes off the 1984 Autobots, except for a few minibots (although I guess we kinda got Gears and Huffer in other lines). With the addition of Rumble and Frenzy, I think we're just missing Soundwave, Laserbeak & Buzzsaw in the classics/universe/etc style for the 1984 Decepticons - assuming Reflector is in the works.

That's awesome that 1984 toys are so close to completion. I guess there's the Omnibots too, but I don't see them getting original moulds.

Exciting news! I'd be happy for WFC versions of Rumble and Frenzy, since WFC Soundwave is one of my new favourites!!!

Well, videocamera alts aren't all that interesting to young kids these days, but I suppose a sensor truck would sort of fit the character(s).

I was kinda dreaming about Reflector being a team of three that combined into a super recon vehicle, but I suppose that's too much to hope for.

I had my hopes set high to get these, but at these prices who can afford them? A friend of my just spent over $600.00 on these and i was like WHAT??? I didnt mind spending $22.00 to $25.00 on the Henkei line, but this is crazy!!! And not only that, theres no chrome on these figures and i thought thats what made Takara different from Hasbro! Im sorry to say that i wont be getting much from this line, if any at all and if they had chrome it would be a totally different story, but not paying those higher prices just for a shinier paint job, thats insane! I hate to say it, but if prices go ANY higher for Transformers, my days of collecting will be over, but ill remain a true fan to the end.

Most likely. I was just about to say but also not likely because the lack of a Blaster, but then I remembered the Universe Voyager and the SDCC exclusive. Get in it Hasbro.

1985 figure, but a 1984 character. Either way, I'd love to see what they could do with him today.

Wheeljack is a Tracks remold? That would explain his proportions a bit, but now I'm torn. Two of my favourites sharing the same body-type... Meh, I'll get both.

I guess people were right about Wheeljack being a Tracks repaint. Kinda dissapointing since I hate the new tracks mold. I love WJ, but I may have to thing about getting him now. Oh, who am I kidding. I'm going to get him for sure, but I still won't like those chicken legs the mold sports.
