Oh man I can't wait to find these. I know that there has been limited finds on these in stores but when is there going to be a mass release - when is the official date? I have checked every store in town for the last month and can't find anything but Sigma 6.

I here they are releasing a Cobra Stinger driver later - this makes me very excited.

If you are on the East Coast Toys "R" Us is the best place to look.

:BOT: On a related note... I bought GI Joe #21, the silent issue!

While picking up my comics, the comic shop had several boxes of old comics. One of the customers traded in his collection for store credit. As soon as I saw some GI Joe comics, I dug right in. And just like finding the Golden Ticket, I nearly crapped my pants finding part of the greenish black cover. It was in pretty good condition too! The clerk knew what he was doing, he checked Overstreet for the price so I paid $25 for it. Still worth it though!

I've read a reprint before... but I've always wanted the real deal.

Of course, the crappy thing was that as soon as I came home, I saw some cheaper prices on eBay. Oh well.... live & learn. :CON:

Aah, but you did it the old fashioned way, you found it in the back issue bins at brick and mortar stores (or a con), and that is how we used to have to do it before this 'dag-busted Ebay thing'.

Still a nice find and a great issue, although it doesn't take long to read! :P

I love Silent Interlude. I think it was great that they included the 5-page Silent Prelude in the Snake-Eyes: Declassified TPB.

I saw #21 at the Montreal ToyCon for about $20, but I had spent all the of the money I brought with me. Oh well, maybe I can score a copy at the upcoming Montreal Comic Con...

:BOT: You're right, finding it at a comic shop is way cooler to tell people than saying I got it on eBay. Then I couldn't do the whole Golden Ticket analogy :)

And sure it takes about 3 minutes to read it... but I continually read it over and over. It's that good. :CON:

These are getting me interested in GIJoe again, which is coll but could also be dangerous considering I have spent thousands on TFs since I got back into them a few years ago.

Nontheless, these redone figures will fit right in on one of my display shelves. It has an 80s toys revisted theme, with Masterpiece Voltron, all the Transformers Classics, the 2002 Masters of the Universe, and Vintage collection Star Wars figs. Each line has its own shelf, and there is one left for GIJoe!

(cough) MASK (cough)...

(cough) Wheeled Warriors (cough)...

(cough, cough) Thundercats (cough), Silverhawks (cough)...

Oh yeah, you said 'revisited' theme and those properties have not been redone...yet.

Godawful... nothing will ever be like the 80s Joes to me. Some of the new super posable Joes are pretty cool, but there's no going back it seems ;)

And I just have to say... meet Snake-Eyes -- the new He-Man!

Hey, man, at least this time they don't have some kind of stupid flight pack... like just about every other wave!

I have Wave 1 Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadow, and I don't intend on getting any more. Even though they now have better articulation.... Grr, I might have to pick up that Helicopter-pack Snake-Eyes, keep the figure, and put the rest of the lame gear in storage.

The Snake Eyes that comes with Timber and the snowboard is pretty cool, just remove the cloth mask, and the ski vest. :?

I don't really like that colour scheme. Besides, I already have Timber - I won him and Kamakura (Glider version) as prizes in the "Snake Eyes on a Plane" contest! :PEACE:

I'll buy Cobra Commander, no matter how he looks or what he comes with.

I want a Baroness figure :(
