So, recently I have picked up a handful of Transformers and, honestly, I hadn't been buying much recently because of my life situation, but I love me my TFs so I always cycle back (and then find out about stuff I have to dig up on eBay, ugh!) But I have noticed the QC seems to have been rather shoddy on these figures.
Windblade looks like her gates weren't clipped properly (easy enough fix for someone like me who like building Gunpla, just clip and sand) but both my Nightbeat and my Jhiaxus have problems with parts that seem a bit more complicated to fix, and I don't know what to do.
Nightbeat has a floppy, loose leg (reminds me of what used to happen to my oooooold GIJoes(, it seems like the knee joing just isn't properly closed. It was fine and then one transformation later and he goes all footloose on me. Any suggestions on a fix?
And Jhiaxus has this weir problem with his elbow articulation where it seems like something was put in backwards in one arm because he bends normally on one, able to bend fully the right way and then something stops it from hyperextending the elbow, but then the other arm full bends the elbow backwards but wont bend normally more than about half-way to where it should be.
I build model kits so I am certain that I can do repairs (And nightbeat was looking to hop onto my table anyways once I can find some nice yellow paint to match his poorly applied paint apps in car mode) but I just don't know what I could do to fix these problems, or even how to remove those pins that hold pieces in place (Like Jhiaxus elbow) without wrecking it....
