I bought him in Robot mode, I transformed him to vehicle mode after takeing him out of the packageing, and he's been in vehicle mode sence then. All of my other figures I've transformed more times than I can care to count. Movie Megatron has only been Transformed ONCE the entire time I've had him. That was maybe a year ago.

Yeah, I transformed him today too(not for the first or last time), and remembered how unweildy it is. There's just no fluid method, you kinda have to force everything in place ya know. I also found out his jet nose extends! Did not know that.

I just took a look at mine and the jet nose is exstended on mine allready. I don't remember if I did that or if it came that way.

Beast Wars TM II Megatron is another pain. The parts just seem to have a tendency to hit each other while transforming.

He's not really difficult so much as annoying. I'd recomend just playing around with him a bit till you can do it without hitting anything.

I actully got mine without the instructions included so I had to figure out his transformation on my own and it really didn't take me long. That's preddy much my defining factor is what qualifies as difficult for me. Anything I can't figure out without looking at instructions.

I allso had issues with G1 Devistator because the one I bought didn't include instructions and his picture on the packageing was backwords so for the longest time I was trying to figure out how to hook his left arm and leg onto his right side and vice versa. If he'd been any of the 5 piece combiners they're interchangeable but Devistator doen't have any interchangeable parts. It wasn't till I noticed an exsposed cockpit on one shoulder from the torso was on the wrong side in the picture that I realized it was backwards then I quickly found the pegs to connect the arms and legs.

Geez I sure hope you're not talking about Voyager Movie Megatron...I mean, he just stands up! It's not THAT hard :P

I've never seen the Voyager version. Mine's a Leader and there's a little more transformation than just "stanting up".

BTW I can't belive they'd even make a Voyager that easy to Transform. That sounds more like the Mini-con sized figures, a McDonalds toy, or a knock off.

Voyager Animated Megatron: It's the only Transformer I actually CAN'T Transform...I turned him into a robot when I first got him and I've NEVER gotten him back into ship mode...I've tried several times but I can't figure him out to save my life...Even with the instructions which, as usual, are crap...

I actully have Voyager Animated Megatron as well and I find him to be a welcome relife from his movie counterpart.

I have him in ship mode at the moment.

*transforming*

Now you said you got him into robot mode once. I wasn't timeing myself just now but I'd say that only took me about a min. to Transform. BTW I never even used the Instructions with this guy.

My main problem with him is that he has ALOT of loose transformation joints which is the main reason I transformed him so quickly. The guy actully transforms for the most part all on his own when I just try to pick him up.

Maybe you got one with tighter joints?

*tansforming again*

Getting him back into ship mode is harder and that's the one you said you had trouble with.

My main issue was lineing up all his pegs to lock him into place. I actully forgot about this but I had the same problem the first time I transformed him as well.

His knee caps peg togeather and that's really the only one that holds tightly you can go ahead and do that first.

The one I didn't even notice was there till just now. Just behind the feet at the back of the ankle are two pegs (one on each foot) that hook into the torso. You'll see the peg hole at the base of the crack in his chest. I'd do this as step two and you may neet to reajest the knee points so they're straight but they shouldn't come unhooked.

Next hook the two pegs on the front on his cannon into his *cough*butt*cough*flap*cough* exscuse me.

The arms peg togeather and you should do thoughs last they were constantly slipping out of place while I was working on everything else.

If you do it in that order everything should hold togeater preddy well allthough the feet will still slide around loose on their hinge.

I agree wholeheartedly with those who have suggested MP Megatron or Alternators Wheeljack.

I'd like to add another name to the list - Trans-Scanning Movie Prime. You get one part in place, and another pops out. It's an absolute nightmare to line up. It's a lot easier if you swap around some of the steps in the instruction manual, but not much!

If you're refering to that HUGE @$$ GAP in the jet mode, unfortunatly that's actully how it looks. Thoughs tabs to get in the way a bit and serve no real purpus. If they were longer they'd actully fill that gap bit they'd hinder the transformation even more. They could make the wing assembly longer (not the wings themselfs but just the pices they're attached to oppisite the hindering pannels) without hindering the transformation.

At any rate what exactly is it you find tricky?

I actully have more issues with the loose treads in tank mode as it seems there's no way to lock them in place.
I just had issues attaching the treads/legs to the back. He never feels "firm" no matter what I do. I had no trouble with his tank mode when I pushed down his wings/canopy 'til it clicked.

The hardest part about him are the legs/trailer. The body itself is preddy simple.

I don't really find him frustrating. He's actully one of my favorites. He's just challenging enough that he's like a puzzle rather than a frustration... unless you find puzzles frustrating.

Another issue I have with him is just that he's too heavy on Optimus Prime. What I mean is the shier weight of him pushes Optimus' torso down to revieal his head just enough so that the pegs to hold Ultra Magnus in place pop out of Optimus' chest.

Basically I can never get the chest/head piece of Omega Prime to stay connected.

He's fallen off the shelf a few times in that mode too and all the parts stay conected preddy well except for that one piece.

The main issue with that mode is getting the "fingers" into place and to be perfectly honest I checked to instructions every time I did this just to be sure because I couldn't belive the fingers fit that damn loosely. Everything just kinda hangs there. Not hard per sa, just unbelivable that nothing pegs into any sort of place.

That's not a transformation problem that's a problem with the toy itself. Nothing is ever "firm" with Animated Blitzwing. Thoughs treds/legs don't peg down anywhere so they just hang loosely below him and the turrent/thruster pegs don't hold verry tightly in his feet either.

To be honest I really hate the jet mode for that reason and because of the giant gap but it's still a great figure. I love Animated Blitzwing and his crazy face.

I've never had any issues with mine. IT stays together fairly well unless you shake it quite a lot. Just bend Prime's waist one notch so that it can't slide back into his torso, and you are set.

I'm more concerned about the stress Prime's tiny waist is put under when they are combined. Magnus is quite heavy.

I'm going to have to agree with Sledge.... *shivers* Never though I'd say that.

But that Mustang Mold (I have Grimlock not Ratchet) is just incredibly annoying to get back into Car mode. My doors will never fit right no matter what I do.

Armada Prime and overload only really have 2 pegs the rest is just sliding it onto the back rail. red pegs on each of Prime's forearm peg unto overload's holes.
Perhaps you are just not transforming Overload correctly.

I've managed to get the doors right once or twice - make sure the windscreen section is pressed firmly into place behind the dashboard, and the bottom panel is firmly in place. The bit I can't get to sit right is the bonnet; it doesn't seem to fit the gap quite right.

Aside from the Arms on Alt Wheeljack, I've had problems with...

Legs on Movie Leader Megatron - they're just... odd...

Arms on Classics Prowl / Silverstreak - can never get them quite right

TFTM CC Bumblebee arms into altmode - very tricky

Alt Dead End - the arms... what is it about me and arms...?

SWTF Boba Fett - Just a bit clunky

I'm also hoping to get MP-05 after I ger paid this month, and I'm looking forward to him being too tricky for me to dare touch him :)

MP Megatron got transformed into gun mode one time and then back to robot. Striclty a dipslay peice from then on. 100 bucks of broken doesn't sit well with me.

Movie new Camaro Bumblebee went from car to robot to shelf. I tried to change it back once since. Never did make it back to a car.

Stupid animted Bumblebee (I see a pattern forming here). I can't get the darn thing back into a car. I even started a thread on here about it. I think mine is defective.

Nothing new here:

MP Megatron: I have transformed him twice to gun mode and back and I don't think I'll transform him ever again. I kind of like the transformation, but the 100$ sign says no way.

Binaltechs: I transform them only from car mode to robot mode and never back (which means my BTAs have never been transformed). They are to pricey and these japanese instructions are beyond all understanding for me.

Movie Bumblebee: it took me like two weeks to get him from the robot mode to the camaro mode. In fact, I still don't know how I did it.

I'm surprised some people consider movie CC Bumblebee to be among the hardest. He's not super easy, but he's not that hard, either, IMO.

I don't know if I'd consider them hardest, but I always thought the RID cars were pretty difficult. Sideburn and Prowl especially so. X-Brawn was maybe a little easier, but still not all that simple.

Energon Slugslinger is kinda hard and wacky until you've transformed him a few times and get a good feel for him. I could see some people not ever getting that feel, though.

And yeah, Universe Galvy is a lot harder than he needed to be. Not impossible by any means, but I'm still not sure if I ever quite figured out how his back kibble is supposed to be properly aligned. And heaven forbid if you don't slide the cannon/right arm into place at the right time during the transformation...

I only have 2 Transformers in my collection that have either been transformed once or not at all.

The first is MP Megatron. I have had him for over a year now, and I just cannot bring myself to transform him. I have made some attempts, but with every one of them I just see myself snapping off parts. That would just make me cry! He is just the definition of "Badassery" in robot mode, so I see no point in transforming him into an out-of-scale-version of a WP-38.

The second is Universe Galvatron. He was a bitch and a half to get from tank mode to robot mode, so I just cannot find a reason to transform him back to tank mode. I display in robot mode, so it's just fine as is!

Yeah he blows hard...There's a tiny bit more to him than just standing up (like orienting the arms and such :P) but not much...The only figure that beats him in lameness is Deluxe Scorpinoc...

I was thinking the exact same thing...I had some difficulty the first time I transformed him back into a car but once I figured out how to put the arms in, I haven't had any trouble with him...I have three of them, and one I transform frequently just because I like to :)
