I don't have him but I've heard that G2 Slingshot is super hard to transform.

I've been able to get him together for a few months. Just takes lots of squeezing.

My vote:
MP Megs cos he's so fiddly and it takes me 10mins to transform him into a gun.

Is that a joke? Sorry but Mini-cons? The hardest one to Transform is Dead End and I can transform him blindfolded so that's not saying much.

definitely not a joke,
some of them fall apart so easily, they are fragile and can have crappy transformations, this can make it a very frustrating experience.

I do think they have crapy transformations but not for the same reason. As for the frigile part, how rough are you handling them? I've never had issues with them falling apart.

Thoughs guys I couldn't transform without the Instructions the first time but once you can transform them once you should be good to go. (unless you haven't transformed them in a while and forgot.)

I don't even know where mine are but I'm betting I'd be able to transform them if I held them in my hands. There's no way I'd be able to exsplain how to another person though. I'm really not good at verbally exsplaining complicated toys like that.

Anyway I got a new one to add to the list.

I just got Supreme Class Animated Optimus Prime. I love the toy but here's the thing.

I seen a few reviews talking about the horrible spining transformation gimic. I knew it was a stupid idea just from seeing the commercials. Why did I get him, because unless I wanna buy Battle Damage set and the Ultra Class Prime there's no other single figure that show accurate.

Now the problems others were haveing with the spin gimic are not the same problems I'm haveing with that same gimic. Others were saying it wouldn't lock into place in vehicle mode so it'd transform weather you wanted it to or not. Mine locks just fine. No the problem I had was taking him out of the package and getting him into vehicle mode.

The spin gimic was not working worth a damn and for a while I thought I was going to have him stuck in robot mode. It finally turned out the instructions were backwards. I was turning it the way the instructions told me to and nothing was happening. I turned it in the oppisite direction I was supose to and it finally transformed but the head does not go all the way down and the right arm doesn't seem to fit in place like the left does. I'm thinking because of the activation button on his right hand for the ax gimmic. (which BTW I love that AX it's the coolest and most show accurate gimmic I've ever seen.)

His legs I had a horrible time getting them locked into place. I'm not sure what the cause of that was.

Overall it's still a great show accurate figure I just don't understand the stupid spin gimic. Allso there are two buttons on his shoulders for lights and sound that were not included in his instructions or on his box. I found them entirely on accident while transforming him. They're disguised as his roof lights. (not the sirens but the 4 yellow lights offten found on large trucks.)

So anyone know how I can solve these problems without breaking the toy?

Interesting. Like I said earlier, I consider X-Brawn the easiest of the three. Not that he's not still tricky, I just have an easier time than with the other two. I guess it's different for everyone. The biggest problem I have with X-Brawn is folding up his legs when converting him into car mode.

TM2 Megatron and universe Nemesis Prime are fiddly and painful to get right, but Alternator Wheeljack gives me the most trouble, I just cannot get his waist and arms right in robot mode, so he has to stay in his alt mode, which if I get lined up correctly only stays in place for a day or two before sliding out to messiness again.

I have no problems with any other alternators (Jazz gave me some trouble at first), but Wheeljack is just impossible.

Take it from someone who transformed him once. MP Megatron is definitely the hardest and scariest to transform.

Movie IronHide...I seem to be having trouble figuring out where the arms go and how, back in truck mode...as embarrassing as that may be...

I dunno, I thought his transformation pretty cool but also a bit annoying, and there's too much empty space where his head is (under it and around) it should be more "connected" to the rest of his body imo.

You might have meant Leader, but Deluxe Brawl's arms are a mess, too. They don't attach right and just sort of hang there in robot mode. I wouldn't say he's hard to transform, so much as just poorly designed and/or manufactured.

Are you talking about what to do with his arms in alt mode? It's tricky but they can be put in so they don't push the sides of the tank out.

I have to say animated ultra magnus because when you are transforming him into carrier mode you have to move his arms to the perfect position otherwise he won't transform right.

I did not break MP Megs the first half dozen times I transformed it. However I noticed stress wear on the black hooks on the hip kibble, which soon snapped off with more transformations. Then one of the tiny tabs on the triggerguard snapped without me even noticing. I have had the arms fall off and the whole robot fall in two, but that was due to the screws working loose and coming out, thus were easy fixes. The lack of those tabs to help hold it together in gun form annoy me, since it can no longer support the weight of the silencer and stock.

I only transform it a few times a year now. It sits in my wardrobe with the accessories as an embarrassing waste of money. What is the point of a transformer you cannot transform? I do not think MP Megs is as difficult to transform as some Alternators, every piece has its place, it requires less finagling, however it is far more fragile.

Glad you said that because when I was transforming him back to Robot Mode I did make a note to myself that those little hooks looked like they could be troublesome...Glad to have that verified...

And as for the "What's the point of having transformers if you aren't going to transform them?" thing, I actually agree with that about 99.9% of time (I LOVE transforming my figures) but I believe Masterpiece Megatron is going to be one I don't bother with...Not beccause I'm really afraid of breaking him, but because his transformation is a pain in the ass and not very fun (I feel the same way about Movie Ironhide)...I'm sure I'll do him up again at some point but he won't be one I play with often...

MP Starscream, on the other hand...I have to FORCE myself to leave HIM alone :D

That is the conclusion I eventually came to about Megs (I have broken the most fragile bits already) it's just annoying now rather than scary, hence me only transforming him when doing some display or another. Currently I have him and Prime each holding their WST counterparts looking rather confused, lol.

I agree with you fully regarding the Starscream mould. My MP Skywarp is my most beloved transformer. But as regards horrible transformations, I still have transformed megs maybe 100 times, some of my Alternators, maybe 10 max.
