Funny that you posted that Bee-ship one. I just saw it in a Japanese toy store the other day. Obviously not Hasbro though.
The point is that Hasbro promised years ago that they would try to get these out eventually, and now they're promising us the same about the First Editions. This is promise that they did not keep before. Why should we believe them now?

Oh I got your point. I just said I didn't remember it because I'd never heard of their supposed release dates in the first place.

And as I said in my first post, I'll believe Hasbro when they actually act on their words. Big companies are notorious for lying just to settle people down.

Well that was at the end of Animated wasn't it? Prime is just starting so there's a big window ahead for Prime figures.
There are two Prime toylines. First Edition and Robots in Disguise. First Edition never made it past the Wave 1 Deluxes, so its missing figures are just like the missing final Animated figures. And the final DOTM toys are still missing too. And the final Reveal the Shield toys are missing, along with only a select few that were actually made being rejected by big retailers and so went to Market Six stores, which many still consider as being "missing" as well. That makes THREE toylines that got shafted in their final waves, and every promise Hasbro has made about trying to release them later has either been broken or skewed. Prime First Edition doesn't look to be any different, as its just as desired by the fandom as those other canceled figures were.

They could easily release the FE in future waves of the Prime toyline since they are Prime figures.

So Hasbro take 1 step in the right direction by addressing the fans. :APPLAUSE:

After the 100 backsteps in the past, by my count, this still puts them 99 steps behind.

They could, yes, but that doesn't men they will.

There was a suggestion that Hasbro could release the remaining Animated figures in the Generations line, but they didn't.

And, the missing Reveal the Shield figures also could have been released in the Market Six stores with the few that did show up in those places, but they weren't either.

As I said, I'll believe it when the FE figures actually show up in stores.

Yeah, this is pretty much what they said about the last RTS wave and Windcharger. Still haven't seen those outside of TJ Maxx. I'll be happy when I see it happen.

I find it hilarious that hasbro never intended to release TFPrime FE in the U.S. BBTS and those other sites had preorders ready to go which they mentioned, but never explained why TRU had item numbers for the voyagers to begin with. Remember the item number 757271? TRU was expecting them and they had full descriptions with this item number for the voyagers...

Just saying...

That was my thought. Kind of strange.

Supply and Demand. They cut the line short knowing that people would like the figures, then they make it available later once they KNOW they have everyone hooked.

I spent a good chunk of change to get all the Hasbro FE's except for Bulkhead. It was a waste of money IMO, because while decent looking on their own, as soon as I actually viewed them side by side with my Takara versions (I bought ALL of the Takara FE's, and they're still for sale/fulfilling more preorders from many that sold out ;)), there was no comparison.

The Hasbro FE's just aren't worth it. I get trying to save money by not importing, but in this situation, things were reversed. It was more trouble and more costly in most cases to get the domestic releases than it was to get the much better (IMO) Japanese versions.

If I start finding the same pattern in the RID lines once the Takara ones start coming into my POL on BBTS, I'll be canceling my orders for the Hasbro versions.

If Hasbro wants to alienate the collectors by pulling crap like this constantly while their oversees counterpart, which caters almost exclusively to collectors, always seems to have higher production numbers (or at least higher availability due to differing prices/market demand), then that's where we're headed.

If I'm buying a toy for a child on Christmas, I guess cheaper is better and looks aren't that important as long as I got one, it will make the child happy. But as a collector who wants display pieces, I gotta go with Takara these days.
