Aww, I was hoping for a Prime Scourge.

Maybe they'll come through and make a similar dragon con? :D

Unless Aligned Scourge is more G1-y. ;)

Maybe. Still, at least it's a piece of artwork Hasbro owns, so this doesn't necessarily discredit the validity of the image (of which I am glad, as I am so looking forward to this Beast Hunters season).

So... we already got Airachnid, Insecticons, possibly Dinobots, and Thudnertron (as a toy). Think we'll see more beast bots like more Star Seekers, or Beast Era homages, or Prime Predacons, or, hey, how 'bout a Prime Waspinator! :-B

Aw, I had hoped it wasn't a reused pic, though I guess I should've known given how the rest of the slides reuse images.

Still, hope we get organic beasts out of this. We've been getting a steady trickle of robotic beasts, but I'd like something that could actually be used as a disguise.

I'm still sticking with the Beastformers-meets-Beast Wars aspect. Namely because it is something that Hasbro needs to consider on account that they have a very wide gap to fill - One series is aimed at little kids, and another aimed at a more mature age group.

So from what I can figure (and not care by the time they introduce more aspects, on account that this is a Hasbro project) is that they plan to start this series as an event in Transformers: Prime and possibly make it a series by Spring of 2014. That is, unless they plan to wrap things up in season 3... Which is an uncertainty. >:oP

But even then... Remember that they mentioned how this Aligned continuity is based on many aspects used form other Transformers series. So I assume by Spring of 2013, we will hear more. And if they are smart, they will add organic beasts into the series and make them cool enough that boys will want those more than most video games. :-?

..... Great. Now I want to watch Headmasters even more now. And it was bad enough that I was looking at the manga series stuff, and finding an irony or two within that stuff. Now I just want to go beyond it once again. Ugh! :BOOM:

Apparently my last post was ignored, but this is a non- Transformers
Toy line. It's just the US version of Takara's "Beast Saga".

Why would they do BW in Prime, we still haven't seen the Dinobots or the Combiners
That we're told will show up.

Be real here...

Agreed, no offense to Neo-Bombshell but the whole my friend got this for me story is hard to believe, someone's friend is never a relieable source.

My friend who works for Hasbro told me that next year we will be getting Fall of Cybertron Technobots and they will combine to form Computron.

Still, I find it hard to find a reason as to why Neo-Bombshell, a member of TFW for 10 years, would post BS. Hopefully it actually is Prime related. If it's just Hasbro's Battle Beast, I'm passing the whole line.

He stated that he obtained the information from his friend. And his friend was given information that was not entirely finalized... Especially since it says that this will be happening in "Fall of 2013." So seeing how the original "Battle Beasts" was known as Beastformers in Japan, as well as a 1987 Headmasters sub-line, we might be seeing more of a crossover event than just a mere new season.

And besides, Thundertron is the leader of the Star Seekers. The Star Seekers have chosen beast-like forms. They also dislike both Autobots and Decepticons. And it is a good bet that they would choose the Battle Beasts' planet as a decoy to get both factions there. But this is all speculations, as Hasbro never said that they are only sticking with their past works. :-?

Star seekers were all beasts? Damn, i was always under the impression that brimstone was a chopper (the bike kind), sandstorm as a buggy, axer as a car, and cannonball as a truck...

Technically, we don't quite know what any of them turn into except for Thundertron, Axer, Brimstone, and maybe Cannonball. Thundertron's a lion, as the toy shows. Axer's a motorcycle, since he was a Deceptcion who joined the Star Seekers later. Brimstone's a Pterasaur of some kind (in homage to Cybertron Brimstone), and Cannonball... I don't know. I mention Cannonball becuase he was shown at BotCon 2011 along with Brimstone and Axer, but I don't remember what he looked like nor what his altmode kibble was (they were only shown in robot mode, but you could tell what Brimstoen and Axer tunred into from their kibble). so, Cannonball could be another beast, but I don't know.

In hindsight, I wish I had payed closer attention to the looks of those guys like I did with the pics of the Thirteen. :BANG_HEAD:

and it makes me worry.
sorry but from the sound of it, i dont like the idea of beast wars in Prime,
I KNOW I KNOW, its all in the execution, but i liked Prime the way it is.
it seems to me they are rushing drama in now, and its messing with the flow of the show.
AND wer are supposed to get this from now til 15'! i hope they dont rush in any new elements in too fast.

kind of a good thing we know nothing for sure and we've yet to have official confirmation that this isnt a massive hoax. sorry to be a downer, but until its announced i dont believe this 'informed speculation' is anything more than a fan wet dream and wish list.

If beasts are going to be introduced and im sure theres a plan and designs on paper right now, id expect it as a subline. Hasbro want this continuity to run and run, theyve stated this, theres no reset (which HURTS sales, their main agenda) on the horizon so its logical to run the brand like Ben 10 and others, give each series or half series a specific hook, Beasts, Omega Keys, invasions etc, keeps the brand fresh and keep the toyline evolving at a steady rate. some of this wish fulfillment fantasy ive been reading is all well and good but im seeing a few posters going way off the reservation on what theyre sure is going to happen, its speculation, nothing more. Look at what is said, not what you want to believe (because unless you work at Hasbro, youre probably wrong), and as much as wikipedia gets quoted, its editable, the facts are not gospel

i felt fine due to the fact they gave some justification to them being part animal(and after sometime to get over it). the dinobots(FOC) have a good one, insecticons(FOC) i can pass without second thought(i blame nastalgia),but if they introduce the beasts though in Prime as something of an animal-robot hybrid(like beast machines) then i yes it will feel awkward.

It is possible the 'Bots and 'Cons cast stays, and we just add more beasts. I see them being semi-robotic beasts (I'd actually like that), though. As long as they don't do a Transmutate equivalent. It'll give me nightmares. :-(

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
and who said they WOULDNT be like the ones from that abomination of a show.
not to mention the possibility of them being half organic isnt far off, since
we all know that cybertron was low on energon in FOC and on earth, so why not make, hybrids that dont take in(or as much) energon as a regular robot?

Yeah. However, Axer is a dead man once they realize that his hatred is faked.

And besides, I always thought Sandstorm was supposed to transform in a ground-type Pokemon. ;) I mean... Have you noticed that they have shown two Thundertron toys, one with and another without his peg leg? :-?
