Holy crap....that Omega Supreme!
I really wish I could peek into the future and see which Prime figures are actually gonna be cool enough in the show (or in the show at all) to make me want them..

Good job on designing these toys, Takara, and the Kreo sets from Hasbro.

Now, lets see TakBro (Takara & Hasbro) reissue some G1 toys (I want no safety reasons, use show accurate things and upgrade like sets included like Ironhide/Ratchet busts, better accesories, etc. And make them have chrome! Finally... MAKE MEGATRON AS A WALTHER P-38 PISTOL W/ ALL ACCESORIES!).

Ugh, had no interest in this line when I first heard about it and the pictures did not change my mind.

Honestly I don't understand why people like animal alt modes when the majority of the transformations consist of "move legs, stand on all fours".

As for the plot device that introduces these characters I doubt it's anything more complicated then "ermahgerd time travel".

The trailer on that prime looks absolutely ridiculous and while Omega Supreme looks fairly cool I'm rapidly running out of desire to spend $75+ on combiners that have crappy posability.

ETA: It also looks like the silver part of the trailer isn't incorporated into OP's robot mode either which makes it a total pass for me.

Dear Lord, you're right! I hadn't considered that, but that's it right on the nail head. Good eye, sir.

Just when that Predaking photo had me worried the Hasbro mafia was pulling me back in. Looks like I won't have to worry about paying for MP Soundwave after all. If the kids go for this, I'm all for it. They are the future, Hasbro is a business, and I understand the company has to focus on them in order to continue to stay in business. That being said however, there are an awful lot of shelfwarmers in the stores here around me. Even the Vehicons aren't disappearing. Signs of the economy, or signs of consumer tastes? Like Michael McConnohie said in an interview: "You can't talk down to kids. They're not stupid."

If I could actually find a Vehicon in stores I'd be pleased. I haven't seen anything but Bumblebee since August.

It's well worth asking the staff of places like Target to check in back. It seems like a few places have the DVD versions of the deluxes but aren't putting them out until the non-DVD ones sell.

There's no Lockdown in the Prime universe, so everyone else has to pretend to be him.

Love the Predacons and Soundwave, and glad to get a Smokescreen toy, not quite sold on the rest, which look like retools, will have to see reviews or wait for it to turn up on the show to be sure. Except for Viking Bulkhead, which amuses me.

Like the Omega Supreme, but hope his joints are strong with that claw arm, and hope the retool didn't eliminate the headmaster gimmick. The Energon Optimsu recolor seems uninspired, and I really hope they use the faceplated version of the mold for the final release.

I see airachnid still looks like **** lol also I'm not to happy with the way prime is going I'm not really a fan of robots that turn to animals or reptiles of any short except for the Dinobots. Plus I'm not impressed with any of these figures most are already released molds with extra chunks put on them. And omega supream isn't doing it for me either I can't stand the unicron trilogy figures I only liked less than a hand full.

It's not ideal, but that Omega might have to be my Classics version. It's funny as I was just thinking of hunting down the original Energon version.

I'm not a fan of the Cyberverse figures in general, but if the Beast Hunters line gives us an original mold deluxe Smokescreen like the Cyberverse one I'll be very happy. Apex Armour is a letdown.

The deluxes are pretty good, although Bumblebee and Wheeljack make me think of Power Rangers Dino Thunder's Super Dino mode. I really want to see Predaking's robot mode simply because they're not showing it. I'm sure it's nothing amazing, but the shameless marketing ploy has worked on me.

I know the release of prime figures is horrible I can't believe I actually found a kup rumble and vehicon all in one shot then I walked into my local Walgreens and found an airachnid. But other than that all I've seen in stores is bees and wheeljacks since wave 2

So which of those cyberverse vehicles is the Apex armor? the one w/ breakdown or the one w/ Smokescreen? If it's the giant jet, show us the bot mode.

Quite honestly, I was thinking the same thing. I assume that they are aiming for a more G1-ish head, but I feel that it could be a bit bigger. Besides that, I think that if my finances improve, I might consider seeking out his Japanese Energon counterpart. >:oP

with the exception of Omega Supreme which is a pretty clever retool, these pictures make me thank Primus for 3rd parties. How much worse can Hasbro's output get before even kids turn their noses up?

I think the new head is meant to be based on the WFC Omega Supreme game model, like how the new claw is.

As for why it's smaller, maybe they got rid of the Headmaster gimmick and had to make the head small enough to fit underneath the Vehicle Mode and be hidden away in that form
