Thats just to damn expensive, i dont care how cool the figure is i can think of much better things to do with a hundred bucks, besides im sure itll be on sale or on clearance soon enough.

The days of store employes knowing about their products is long over, they would rather hire a moron who works for minimum wage and can be fired on the spot than someone who knows about the products but will only work for $10 an hour and job security. Sometime you will encounter a person who will research the stuff after getting the job but thats rare. Besides with comouters now all they have to do is type in a keyword and look it up, not always helpful but thats how they think now. Just another reason why i miss K B Toys, the people who worked there knew everything there was.

Well dang! Just as my nerves started settling from hunting Thundercracker, Prime has to go and appear, looks like it's time to get back on the hunt! (my poor wallet!)

it's nice to finally sit back and not feel panicked, for once finally scoring online, loads of gas will be saved!

I will check my local TRU today but I am not hopeful.
Why is it no one cares at TRU.
They should be glad they have a job and give at least 60% effort.
We need to get some transformer fans in the job.

TRU.com doesn't ship on the dates, just when the item is received..
It was "excepted in or around Oct. 15th"..

There is one at my store. I plan on going out there tonight and/or tomorrow to look for Prime. Let me know if you want me to pick it up for you. I will not charge you anything other then cost to do it.

I'll accept your offer St. Even lol. Just pm me and I'll paypal you the money. My local Toyrus' stopped carrying the high end Transformers because they don't sell around here.

Does the TRU MP Optimus have the Shortened Smoke stacks like with MP-01 that was released in the states? or the normal smoke stacks?

Then ill have to keep an eye out for it. never got an MP10 or a trailer for my MP01. After looking at a video comparison of the 01 and 10 molds seems ill like MP10 better than my 01.

This again? Seriously? Okay then, you wait for clearance. Let us know how that works out for you. By the way, you are nuts. $250+ for the Takara, or $100 for the FIRST domestic MP Optimus Prime with a trailer and ALL accessories? This is a no-brainer and MOST of us are VERY pleased.

Hopefully, HasBLO won't choose to listen to things like your post and ruin it for everyone else.

never seen an MP in my area go on clearance or on sale. your usually lucky to find one at all.

im deffinatly one of the ones thats pleased to have this state side. cant wait to find one.

Both MP-02 Ultra Magnus and MP-04 Convoy Perfect Edition were sold at retail (Target) in Australia. And TRU AU has confirmed they'll be stocking MP Optimus Prime.

So here's my story. I frequent my local TRU here in San Diego and have a pretty cool relationship with the staff. They are always holding items for me and will usually call me as soon as they unload a truck at around 7:30am, that may have an item that I have been inquiring about. With that said, about 3 weeks ago I get a call about MP-Thundercracker. Score! Yesterday at 7:30am I got a call to let me know MP-Prime was on hold for me to pick up. Score! Life is good. "Til all are one!" or at least til all have a hook up like mine at a TRU.

Agreed. Even when my TRU had one lonely MP Grimlock sitting on the shelf got WEEKS that sucker didn't go on sale. That thing had to have been there for a month and a half before someone finally took pity on him and bought it.

Back when I wasn't interest in MP's... and didn't have much money because I was fresh out of college...

Any idea of the SKU? That's how I found MP Thundercracker. Also any idea if Prime will still be around by Christmas? My sister was going to get this for me as a present and I'd hate for her to have to get it now.

FYI about his smoke stacks, if I remember correctly they do telescope in and out as part of the transformation.

Not sure about the SKU, but I do believe he will be out sometime in October.
