Are you looking at the right mold? Leadfoot is squat with wide hips and a big gut made from the hood of his alt mode, just like in the movie. Topspin's pretty tall and slender looking.

Their car modes however look alike in the sense they're both armed and most importantly, are in fact the same model: the Chevy Impala.

It would have been interesting to see how they could make a laptop transformer. I mean they had those "real" gadgets in the transformers range. I bought the little game console and the toaster . The latter wasn't that bad for what it was.. They also did a cellphone but that was kind of weak.

If you collect other than the movie lines, Takara made a Device Label Blaster, who turns into a laptop. It's pricey but not that bad. It is a working USB hub too.
