HR is great, very classy!

I really like the look of Ronin, I should snag a B-tron before they skyrocket.

Ditto.
I'm getting him along with a second Skullgrin and Wheeljack in a bout a week or so.
Why am I getting a Junkion vibe from that "secret internal Project"?

These are the guys I wish I could be. The customs, all the designs I've generated, even the Octopunch set I'm still trying to work through the problems on, it's all just because I want it and I think others might too!

If 3rd party is ever let back in to Botcon, the Headrobots guys are the guys I'd want to talk to.

I have no idea. I'm thinking a new chest for Cog, a new face for Fortress Maximus and a 'God knows what'.

I don't have too much from these guys, but I like their attitude. Wouldn't mind it if they released their Big Road ... although it'd be pricy.

Looking forward to their Skullgrin set since I had that guy when I was a kid. Mindwipe looks interesting too ... kinda tempted to hunt one down and buy it.

That banzaitron , skullgrin and mindwipe will be bought , i love HR i hope they just keep making kits like this , i know skullgrin hasn't had a final look but i don't think i have to worry

Trailbreaker looks canny i would like to see a painted version even if they don't release it .

I want to just buy the Banzaitron for the accessories because the Botcon version is my Banzai-Tron

I should find his crab partner

Edit: Crab partner found and ordered

Unfortunately I don't think they'll be producing it, but with enough fan input, you never know!

Probably the same. Althought I do think the BZ set has a better chance than Big Road.

It's the name of the Trailbreaker HR designed in house, you know the one they show in the article.

:(

Thanks to sharing, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Black King and maybe a regular Scorponok version.

Good interview, there. I too hope their Scorponok upgrade gets released. And Big Road... damn. The last piece of my Classics collection right there, just out of reach.

I'd be willing to bet we get one from Hasbro before too long, I hope anyway.

People were saying that back in '07 when I made my own Trailbreaker out of C Red Alert. Him and Scout class Brawn were the first two Transformers I ever made and Hasbro still hasn't made them in those scales!

Yea, they've been teasing him for a long time now, but if they ever should make one, it wouldn't be before next year, this year is Prime only.

True, but he and Skids are the last two 84/85 Autobot cars to not get the Classics treatment at this point. Plus they've released a Legends class figure of him, they did the same thing with Jazz and Hound. First came the Legends class versions, then the Deluxe. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part.

And Gears. Still no Gears to hang out with Spider-Man. :-(

The Hounds came out the same year (I actually bought them at the same time!) and Legends Jazz came out the same time as SG Jazz which took him off of Hasbro's list of things to do for 2 years. Between G1 and the Legends figure from last year, Trailbreaker had no less than four failed figures attempts that were either renamed into other characters or scrapped entirely. I could have lived with him being a Generations Kup repaint with a new head, hand, and a c-clip piece for his radar scanner behind his head. The part that still confuses me is that C Red Alert is a dead ringer for Trailbreaker but they repainted him into Crackcase of all things for the Walmart Movie line. So for some reason we will never know, we were denied an official version of this:

http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv80 ... CN7582.jpg

That has seriously been a part of my Classics Autobots since it was just Optimus, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Mirage, Grimlock, Jetfire, Hot Rod, and a naked Magnus. The head, that handcannon, the shoulder guns, the altmode, all of it perfect for Trailbreaker and we got Crankcase. That does not make sense.

Okay, that's... nigh-perfect. I might do that myself.

For Gears, there's the iGear version. That's where I got my Huffer and will be getting my Brawn. After them, Trailbreaker is all that's left to complete the 1984 line from the main catalog. That is my goal. To own all of them in Classics form.

The point is we shouldn't have to make it ourselves! We shouldn't have to turn to iGear and pay $35 a pop for bots Hasbro used to make as key chains but now won't touch! Every Bumblebee with a new coat of paint or made out of black plastic takes away a spot for something else that will actually sell! They could've used that black plastic to make Trailbreaker from Red Alert but then they wouldn't have 4 spots for Bumblebee that wave! If stores are choked with what I believe was called "the yellow cancer" in another thread, why do they insist on fitting more of him in the box and cancelling any wave that doesn't have him in it? I live in a major metropolitan area and there are stores here who haven't ordered Transformers in nearly 2 years because their still full of ROTF Bumblebees and Tuner Mudflaps (but he's a whole different screw up on Hasbro's part!) Two years. They didn't even sell at Christmas. We shouldn't have to turn to iGear or Fansproject or Maketoys. Hasbro should be in control of their own brand. But they're not. Part of the law of supply and demand is that if you don't meet demand, demand goes elsewhere until supply is adequate. Look what happened to the MP notSoundwave. As soon as the official one was announced, everyone came right back to HasTak. But my nephew returned 4 Bumblebees to the store on his birthday last month because he'd rather have a gift card. The parents who gave them to him knew enough to give my sister receipts before he even opened them. He still likes Transformers, he plays with mine all the time. He loves all the cartoons and toys from G1, Beast Wars, Classics, the movies, Animated, and even Prime. But the kid is 9 and he says he's sick of Bumblebee toys.

Back on topic, Headrobots is awesome and I love their "if it ain't cool, fix it!" attitude! I will continue to buy their products! I would love a set of those Black Zarak/Scorponok upgrades!
