I'd be willing to bet we get one from Hasbro before too long, I hope anyway.
People were saying that back in '07 when I made my own Trailbreaker out of C Red Alert. Him and Scout class Brawn were the first two Transformers I ever made and Hasbro
still hasn't made them in those scales!
True, but he and Skids are the last two 84/85 Autobot cars to not get the Classics treatment at this point. Plus they've released a Legends class figure of him, they did the same thing with Jazz and Hound. First came the Legends class versions, then the Deluxe. Maybe just wishful thinking on my part.
And Gears. Still no Gears to hang out with Spider-Man.
The Hounds came out the same year (I actually bought them at the same time!) and Legends Jazz came out the same time as SG Jazz which took him off of Hasbro's list of things to do for 2 years. Between G1 and the Legends figure from last year, Trailbreaker had no less than
four failed figures attempts that were either renamed into other characters or scrapped entirely. I could have lived with him being a Generations Kup repaint with a new head, hand, and a c-clip piece for his radar scanner behind his head. The part that still confuses me is that C Red Alert is a dead ringer for Trailbreaker but they repainted him into Crackcase of all things for the Walmart Movie line. So for some reason we will never know, we were denied an official version of this:
http://i671.photobucket.com/albums/vv80 ... CN7582.jpgThat has seriously been a part of my Classics Autobots since it was just Optimus, Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Mirage, Grimlock, Jetfire, Hot Rod, and a naked Magnus. The head, that handcannon, the shoulder guns, the altmode, all of it perfect for Trailbreaker and we got Crankcase. That does not make sense.
