Headrobots Teases "Ronin" Upgrade Set for HFTD Banzai-Tron & "Tauros" for Gen Skullgrin

Third-party upgrade group Headrobots has posted a couple of future products teasers via their twittier and facebook accounts.

First, we have a glimpse of a new head upgrade for Generations Skullgrin titled "Tauros". Images mirrored from their facebook page below.

Next we have a set for those not pleased with the current skull head on their HFTD Voyager Banzai-Tron. Headrobots has tweeted a teaser for an upgrade set known as "Ronin" based on their previous "Blood: The Dark Warrior" set for HFTD Voyager Bludgeon. Check out the teaser art below.

If the price is right, I may buy just for the accessories. I don't have ROTF Banzaitron. I also like the helmet crest better then Bludgeon's version.

I like it. I'm just not sure I need this set. I recently got hooked up for my birthday with the Blood upgrade (thanks Mike) which was awesome. But I like the idea of my Bludgeon, Banzaitron and Overlord (Botcon) all having different heads. Which now they do.

Awsome ill but this straight away as long as its in the price range as bludgeon and he has and gun but i will still use his sword since it was blue if we dont get one in the kit.

im sure his action master gun could be turned up right as a.. well some sort of sword.

You know, these guys really impressed me at first. These concepts, along with the Onslaught kit are veering the wrong way IMO. Skullgrin already has a pretty nice resculpted head. Botcon gave us a great Banzaitron. I would love to keep throwing support their way. The current trend is making it difficult for me to do so.

Yeah, Skullgrin's head is pretty much fine as it is. If anything I'd be happier if they added other components to the guy to differentiate him further from Straxus.

No really, that guy's just chilling on his throne on my shelf, looking over at Skullgrin and wondering why he wore the same outfit to the party. Sad really.

I'll be passing on Taurus for sure. I think Hasbro's version is just fine. Again, it may come down to accessories.

What I would like them to do is work on Botcon 2012's Metalhawk.

I have the Blood upgrade for Bludgeon, so this news made me wonder if I need to go pick up a Banzai-tron?

But looking at the pics, I don't think Hasbro did a great job of repainting him:

And I think the bronze and silver actually look worse than the original colours:

But if there are some other things that HeadRobots can do to make the figure look a little different from Bludgeon and a little more like G1 Banzai-tron then I would be interested (like maybe cover up the skeletal arms/legs and make them look more blocky - probably not feasible though, I haven't checked).
