No really, that guy's just chilling on his throne on my shelf, looking over at Skullgrin and wondering why he wore the same outfit to the party. Sad really.

They can be made to look totally different just the way they are. Mine stand next to each other on the shelf and you wouldn't even know they come form the same mold. I'll post a pic when I get home.

That said, I'm not getting either of these. Skullgrin is perfect (and I mean perfect) the way he is and if I were to get a Banzai-Tron for display, I'd get the Botcon one again. I sold mine a few years ago when times were tough.

I don't have or want Banzai-tron, so I'll certainly skip that one. I was about to write-off Tauros as well (perfectly happy with the head Skullgrin has) until you guys reminded me that it'll probably come with some worthwhile accessories.

If all else fails, I may find a way to hang that skull on a chain and drape it around his neck.

THAT is a wicked idea. Do you mind if I copy it. Think I'd put mine around his waist though. Skullgrin's already got quite a bulky chest.

Go for it. I may hang mine off the weapon or waist - I'll know for sure whenever I get it.

As much as i love having Skullgrin and his head i suppose isnt bad i always thought it was too small and not ugly enough, i mean after watching masterforce or just compared to his Pretender figure then checking his Gen head out i would have liked more cartoon influence personaly.

Looking at the teaser it appears the size is no problem and they have clearly just upsized the Gen head style i just hope he has an evil face
.
Im buying both anyway .

I never felt the need to change Bludgeon's head. In my own opinion, it is WAY better than the 3rd party one.

But this upgrade set would be just PERFECT for my Banzaitron. This will really set him appart as a different character.

I bought the blood kit as soon as it was out and it does look good i got it for the skull face but ended up the comic face on display

even if you dont like the head the swords are amazing them alone are worth picking it up .

Headrobots have taken to their facebook and twitter accounts to provide updates on their "Ronin" and "Tauros" upgrades for HFTD Voyager Banzai-Tron and Generations Skullgrin respectively. Check them out below.

In these two, not so interested in the heads, but the accessories look pretty sweet.

It's a good day for Headrobots upgrades.

I think the spike detail on the skullgrin upgrade is reverse-engineered off of a Lego Hero Factory 3.0 element :-?

And what of Skullgrin's new head. I think that's just the standard head turned around.

It is, the new head will be plugged on top of it.

I'll get the Skullgrin one for the accessories alone, I may pick up two and make a Dauros with a second Skullgrin. That way I'll have two different heads!

I may have to pick up Banzaitron now.

Damn it, I'm going to have to buy a Banzaitron. I wasn't real impressed by the first pictures but it's looking good now. I can't gather much from the Skullgrin pictures.

They look like a couple of interesting sets, but I'll pass!!

As a side note I discovered the other day that the word 'Ronin' means, "A Bushi or Bushido with no lord or master during the feudal period (1185–1868) of Japan. A samurai became masterless from the death or fall of his master, or after the loss of his master's favor or privilege."

In modern usage, the term is also applied to describe a salaryman who is "between employers" or a secondary school graduate who has not yet been admitted to university.

So now you know, and knowing is half the....WHOOPS! Wrong cartoon.
