very disappointing ending.love the designs, but this ending just sucked.i won't spoil it for anyone, but honestly this story needed a little more punch to the ending.very nice touch adding in scourge(transforms into a zepplin, his body forms the cockpit and a blimp inflates from what would typically be his underbelly,in other words he is upside down)

I prefer Feudal Japan myself. It would be very interesting to see what kinds of designs they could come upo with to fit in that era given the utter lack of even Industrial level technology.

Nope, never read it! But I think that roman armor designs would look really cool incorporated into TF's! :P

I think it would be neat to just have them as there selves and stick them in a time, I mean that way the people would be freaked out by both sides, so they would stay away and not be there to interfere with the robot story.

World War 2 would be interesting , we might get to see some of the lesser used characters like Warpath and Quake . I can see Quake as a German Tiger tank and of course the Combaticons. or a Battle of Britain type Scenario with the Aerialbots against the Seekers.

I used to read comics all the time until I realized I was spending $70 a week on them so I went cold turkey back in 94! Money is better spent on my toy collection!!!

I went cold turkey after Maximum Carnage, or was when the spider clone thing happened you had to get 7 different lines of the book to get the whole story, and Kroger only had so many back then and Comic shops are not everywhere like they seem to be today, so it was very disappointing.

Luckily still have all my old Marvel Transformer comics I found in an antique shop reading basket thing, Dawn of the Dinobots, Dawn of Devestator, Blaster vs. Straxus, Stunticon one with the wild west cover? I forgot which one that was.

My old roommate read tons of them he had all the DW books but I never wanted to buy them since he had them all but he moved out and I had none.

My final straw was the Image #0 with the coupons from 8000 different titles to collect and send in!

Sorry to derail..... I would still go with Rome!

the current lineup of transformers are done primarily as miniseries so they are a little bit easier to swallo than max carnage or .....shudder ......the clone saga

dreamwave did it as part of the g.i.joe crossovers,if you can find it and get past the funky art design(very liberal use of shading and shadows)it is a pretty good read.

I just steped into this thread late. Was avoiding it till I had purchased the last issue. Yes, Disappointing as hell. VERY Disturbing Behavior ending. Yea, Onslaught got me to stop buying anything Marvel puts out, but I still bought image. They didn't tend to do the annoying crossovers to try to make the readers pay three times their normal comic bill (if not more) to get the whole story. Lately I only buy indy books and Transformers. Artist/Creator control is very important to me. I overlook that with the transformers licence, but not too many others.

yeah it was very "back to future part3".my biggest problem with this whole thing was the fact that they promoed meg and op in the design gallery on idw's home page, and then we don't even get see them(prowl's"we're not going to bother prime with this" is getting to be as annoying as ultra magnus'"i can't deal with this now",especially after reading this and infiltration)

***Spoiler for the people who don't know my reference

In both this comic and Disturbing Behavior, there is some interesting story introduction, a little build-up, and right where their should be the beginning of the first big fight scene, all the bad guys are sent flying over the edge of a cliff. We are supposed to assume they all die. You don't get a fight at all. You get about two seconds of resolution. And its over. The comic ended about an issue shy of where it should have, the movie ended after about 90 minutes. At the end of each I felt like I had been pick-pocketed.
