What is it? Inferno? Red Alert? How would I find this figure on eBay? I can't even figure out what his real name is!

That is in fact Transformers Universe Inferno.

Repainted from R.I.D Prowl. Who was in turn repainted into Super Prowl, Universe Prowl, Botcon Japan Clear Mach Alert, OTFCC Exclusive Sideswipe and Suntsreaker.

He's had so many versions its hard to keep them straight.

Still the pic is Inferno.

Ohh and he's slightly mis-transformed there.
Waist should be pushed in.

Here, just two results from ebay search:

Thanks for clarifying!

So is that a rare figure? Every other Universe figure I've looked for on eBay, I've had no trouble finding them available from multiple sellers. Why does it seem like Inferno is rare?

(Also, re: your sig, is there really a Universe Shockwave coming out? I used to have him back in the day, he was awesome.)

I think is just a slow time for eBay right now. Lots of stuff I normally see just isn't there.

I picked my Inferno (who yes, I call Red Alert) up a couple months ago for about $9 and that was after I'd watched the auction end and be re-listed three times.

By the way, the next time you're having trouble identifying a figure, you might try this link:

I was able to find a match for this guy by choosing the colors red, white, and black, and by narrowing the alternate form down as far as "cars" (I didn't know what his exact form was, but I could see the wheels, so I assumed he was a car).

I hope that's helpful for next time.

oh golly, now this is a nice repaint. i have both versions of RID Prowl (regular and super mode) but this repaint really looks good; the crimson's very nice on the mold.

@autobot_aza: trade? Philippines is much nearer to Australia right? hehe, just kidding man.

OK, now I feel kinda dumb. I just realized I recently won two versions of this mold! I won an auction on eBay for all six RID "Car Brothers", including the white Prowl and the blue (&white) Prowl. I just didn't make the connection that the red Universe "Inferno" is the same mold with a red paint job. D'oh! #-o I blame Hasbro for confusing me.

The red one is cool, but if I've already got the other two paintjobs, I'm not going to spend like $30 just to get the red one, especially after I got the other two for $10 each.

Not that I know of. I guess its just that people aren't selling any right now.
I have the Original White Prowl version of that mold, and man is it floppy. Its nice to look at, and has a pretty interesting transformation, but he's kinda scrawny and floppy.

As for my sig that's just the unused gray clay Titanium Prototype with some colors I added. I so hope they use it for Universe.

Quitter.

You don't really own a toy until you've bought it at least 3 times.

So if you really own a toy if you have three versions, what level of ownership does six versions qualify for?? :D The only Prowl variant I'm missing is the clear one.
