Henkei Released in Japan

Postby Stormrider » Wed Oct 22, 2008 10:42 pm

Weapon: Atom-Smasher Cannon
Several new Transformers have been released in Japan. Henkei Seibertron Streak (Silver Streak), Lambor (Sideswipe), and Octane. Like the previous Henkei figures, these three feature chrome painted parts. Expect online retailers to have them in stock soon.

Also of note - several Marvel Crossovers figures were released in Japan today as well: Grey Hulk, Human Torch, Black Spiderman, and Wolverine. These figures have been released directly by Hasbro and do not show any change in paint scheme or box art. So don’t expect a special Japanese repaint version.

I like the packaging, but I'm passing on all the Henkei except Rachet since he isn't scheduled for a US release.

Their character artwork is so much better than the domestic ones.

The artwork's, but otherwise, I'm not a fan.

Curiously, I bought the Voyagers Heavy Load and Blaster from the Classics line, and they've been lucky enough to not have mouths.

It's Cybertron Streak, not Seibertron Streak. Seibertron's the planet, Cybertron is Autobot :P I'm still surprised with the necessity of the "Cybertron" and "Destron" prefixes....
Top 5 Priorities:

1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
4) RiD Landfill (regular, not the yellow)
5) BW Convobat (red) & Megalligator (purple)

Also looking for any clear Arms Microns, like Shadow (Gora & R.A.), Hellflame and Shining (O.P. and R.A.).

Preparing to move to the US!

I always thought "Seibertron" is just this Website's name. While "Cybertron" is both the Planet and the Faction.

Cybertron
I... have the power!!!!

Here we go again...

US
Planet: Cybertron
Factions: Autobots and Decepticons

Japan
Planet: Seibertron (It's a pun with "Sei", the Japanese word for any celestial body)
Faction: Cybertron and Destron (Destron is actually "Death-tron" ;))
Top 5 Priorities:

1) BW Neo X-7 Elphaorpha
2) BW II VS-18 Powerhug vs. Autocrusher
3) Universe 2003 Night Slash Cheetor
