Yeah! It's all customized, a guy who I know made it for me (it's made of wood).The doors (aluminum) and the shelves inside it (glass), that's my job.

Very cool stuff! I've got a buddy who does carpentry work, and I'm thinking about seeing what he'd charge me to build something similar. How much did yours end up costing you if you don't mind me asking?

Hey AtOmic, no problem. So, I live in Brazil, and I don't know if telling you the price is gonna help you ... anyway, the carpentry job costed about US$200 and the doors + glasses about US$150. It may seems a little expensive, but seeing your hole collection in one single display is priceless. :)

Hmmm, that's really not bad considering how nice you cabinet looks. I'm sure it helps that you were able to do most of the work yourself.

I wonder if lumber is cheaper in Brazil? (is not making a deforestation joke)

A gave to the guy who built it an old wardrobe of mine, than he used some parts of it, so I can't tell you if it's cheaper! When I got married and bought a custom place to cook food my wife asked for, it was very, very expensive ... I think the prices, in the end, are almost the same!
