fansproject needs to make the missile pods/shoulderblox for classics/rotf vortex/energon blackout and bruticus from a stronger more durable form of plastic

over time i have also noticed that the side panel flaps on bruticus's left shoulder blox for vortex have actually broken at the bottom corner of each flap with the plug stud hole

i have had toi repair the part with epoxy glue over time and even had to switch the flaps on vortex's shoulder blox with the ones from explorer/blsstoffs shoulder blox over time

it just got to the point that i had to slightly sand down the size of the plug nobs on the sides of vortexs body for them to properly fit the hoels on the missile pod flaps

the new shoulder blox exstensions i made for big brute explorer blastoff and vortex still work all right in combining them with onslaught as bruticus's arms for combiner mode

but hte pods no longer stay in place when i try to attach them to the sides of vortex's helicoptor mode

instead i have had to improvise a male plug/female socket 2 part connector system using parts from classics superion maximus's silverbolts shoulders so that one missile pod can be mounted into place on the back of munitioner/swindles trunk/roof in vehicle mode and the other can be mounted into place on the back of onslaughts extended trailer as well

ieven had to completely replace the ball jointed hip parts from explorer over time with ball socket parts salvaged from energon flat tops shoulders

I don't really have a holy grail because I haven't been searching long and hard for anything in particular, but one of my guys was a "crazy random happenstance" (to steal the quote from Dr. Horrible). I've been to countless antique places and consignment malls over the years and never seen anything Transformers related. On one particular occasion however, when I was marveling over one guys collection of vintage tin toys, spotted G1 Topspin with his gun for $8.

I had a geek attack in the antique mall xD Then spent two days fretting about his safety <.< I was on a road trip and the car was full. Lol. We'd stopped at the antique place to stretch our legs for a bit.

Best. Rest. Stop. Ever.

And in the end, he got to my house safe and sound :3

I recently started a family, so I've had to pare down most of my Transformers collection. I've sold quite a few on eBay. I've gone from literally having a hobby room full of TF's to a single china cabinet. But I don't really mind, the Transformers that I've kept are all ones I really like and I'm using the money I've earned to save for a down payment on a house. :ic$:

My collection is mostly G1-G2 and G1 related stuff, and my grails are mostly foreign Transformers. My grails are:

1.) Botcon Alpha Trion
2.) Transformers 2010 Unicron (Takara)
3.) Monstructor
4.) Road Caesar
5.) Liokaiser
6.) Star Saber
7.) Victory Leo
8.) Dai Atlas
9.) Road Fire
10.) Sonic Bomber
11.) Sky Garry
12.) Roadbuster (complete!)
13.) Nightbeat
14.) Circuit
15.) Windmill
16.) Deftwing
17.) Ironfist
18.) Clench
19.) Skyquake
20.) Shockwave (complete, works)
21.) Deszaras
22.) Bludgeon
23.) Darkwing and Dreadwind
24.) Stalker
25.) Gutcruncher (complete)
26.) Double Punch
27.) Overlord
28.) Trypticon
29.) Scorponok
30. ) e-Hobby Magnificus
31.) e-Hobby Sunstorm

My Holy Grail changed after I purchased my Fort Max. And again after Overlord. Right now, my grail is the DairyCon Pretender Convoy. http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/dairycon-confirmation-packets-arrive-pretender-convoy-inner-bot-revealed/17998/

I mean, It's obviously Peter Cullen "pretending", with Optimus Prime on the inside. Awesome, exclusive, rare, and deeply meaningful. I want. Someone got one for sale? :D

My 1st place Extra Sacred Holy grail would be either be 2010 Battle Blades Optimus Prime because of his awesome detail work and he's the only movie Optimus Prime figure with a Matrix of Leadership.

My 2nd place ranked grail would be Dropkick because his pickup truck reminds me of my first transformer figure which was G2 Gobot series Motormouth

3rd and in my grail of figures is Classics Deluxe Prime because he's a G1 styled Optimus prime figure.

4th and final holy grail goes to my Cybertron Downshift. I just love both of his forms.

I don't rate my TF holy grails based off price value nor low volume units. because If something I own is worth so much,I'm gonna sell it in a heart beat before the market crashes or before they make a re-issue or better updated version.

My holy grails are based off super poseability, awesome design & proper size scale.

I don't have any G-1 1980's Holy grails because I hate Brick-formers.

Currently my holy grails are as follows: (1)3rd party Hexatron, because it's a super poseable leader sized toy that looks leaps & bounds better than the 1987 sixshot toy. i'll probably get 2 hexatron's & one greatshot. (2)Takara 2010 Unicron, because it's the most 1986 movie accurate in colors. (3)The recent 3rd party leader sized Galvatron toy. (4)MP-09 version 2.0,it's the fixed version,so this is a must get.
(5)I-gear smaller scale MP Megatron, that will be around 8 inches tall in robot height with a regular sized fusion canon.

I think the idea of a Holy Grail is a figure or set that you have always wanted and had not had the opportunity to obtain (whether for price or availability). A wish or want list is stuff that you are certainly going to get

I mean, the Galvatron that is under development and only really surfaced like what? A month ago? What if it sucks? How can that be a Holy Grail?

Is there not a figure that you passed on or refused to drop money on that you really want?

No,I'm not a fan of 1980's brick-formers.

I did list Takara 2010 Unicron as one of my holy grails on my list.

the 3rd party galvatron looks very G-1 styled in both modes & is rumored to be around 23cm/9 inches tall. so based on this info+pics. I know I want it & it's on my list of current holy grails I want. since most 3rd party TF toys take extremly long to get released for purchase, they can be considered holy grails.

needless to say i've been waiting over 2 years for I-Gear to make the smaller scale 8 inch robot mode version of MP Megatron.
