How did Sam save Bruce's life?

How did Sam save Bruce's life?

During the interview with Sam and Bruce at Accureta Systems Sam mentions "Mister, I saved your life twice. Now I can't tell you how or when, but I have done crap that matters..." you get the idea. But exactly how did Sam save Bruce's life twice? I'm assuming there's something in the comics that explains it, but I haven't read any of them,so... can anyone help me out?

He means he saved everyone in the world lifes by helping to stop the Decepticons plans for domination.

Yeah, he was talking about saving the whole planet in each of the first 2 movies. Not just Bruce's life individually.

Yeah the other guys pretty much got it, Sam was referring to how he saved the world twice in the other movies.

Who the hell is Bruce? Are you talking about John Malkovich?
I do not blame Michael Bay for crapping all over a huge part of my childhood. He just directed the scripts that were given to him. I blame Orci, Kurtzman, and Krueger, who seem completely incapable of concocting a story that even halfway makes sense.
