I agree that bigger feet does increase the height and the overall outlook of the legs. However PE add-on seem too big for both feet and fists, just not my cup of tea.
I think I can wait.

I just got 4/5ths of Superion and I gotta say that he's more fun than any 3rd party combiner I've ever had the (dis)pleasure of assembling.

The Energon combiners were just as nice, in fact I like the Combiner Wars mechanism as it feels more locked together, and is stress free to detach the limbs.

I've got 3/5ths of CW Superion, Due to TRU.com being out of stock of CW Skydive when I placed my order that day. Oddly enough days later, Skydive went back in stock on TRU.com
Got free shipping because the order was over $50.

Also have CW Dragstrip but I don't count him towards the CW Superion gestalt.

Received my package from TRU.com today. Got one CW Silverbolt, One CW Optimus, One CW Alpha Bravo and one CW Airraid.

Last week, I bought CW Dragstrip at a nearby Target store for $11.99, it was on sale. Wish the other CW Wave One deluxes were there, but someone else bought them all before I got to the store.

Sorry, I took these pics just a bit ago, but forgot to post them. When I got the CW figures, I have to admit that I was impressed, though I am scared to death of transforming Superion due to the stress issues on his neck. They are a lot of fun to fiddle with. I cannot fiddle with Intimidator. However, there is something about the new figures that does bug me, and did bug me a little starting when I was a kid: scale. *ducks at the shoe thrown by Dead Metal*

One of the things I loved about FP's Intimidator is how the figures all scale with each other, particularly in alt mode. Together, they look like a bunch of exotic cars and a Semi (with a really long wheelbase on the tractor, but i digress...) They scale well with each other. I do not own Uranos, but I imagine the scale between Intimidator and Uranos would actually be pretty close. I find that kinda cool.

Here's the scale issues with the CW line:

Image

From left to right, if a human were standing next to the appropriately scaled vehicle, would start at about what, 2mm, and increase in size with each figure until Drag Strip would be what, an inch and a half? That's an amazing difference in scale, which my mind has some trouble with. (I know, I know, the norm for scale in TF is crazy. I'm just justifying my decisions on this.)

So, for me, FP Intimidator, Energon Superion Maximus with the FP add-on, Energon Bruticus Maximus with the FP add-on and TFC Devestator will be my "Classics" collection figures because they scale well within their respective teams (with a little imagination "denial," particularly with Bruticus, but hey, this is the norm here too, right?) The CW figures will be something I will keep separate and play with a lot more than any of my Classics gestalts.

(As an aside, I know I mixed my English and metric units above. I thought it appropriate for this discussion of scale within Transformers. As much as I would like to be accepting of scale issues, my slightly OCD mind has to fight with the part of my mind that squeals because the CW figures are truly awesome!)

You know, on a total tangent, if anyone ever makes a better Silverbolt for Uranos, they should make him turn into an F-111 Raven. It's a big aircraft (big enough to be more or less in scale with the limb bots and still make a good torso) and better still, unlike the SR-71 or the Concorde, it's very bulky and boxy, so there's lots of room for folded up robot kibble without it being super obvious.

Case in point:
