Mr. Herb Weiss is the Economic and Cultural Affairs officer for the city of Pawtucket Rhode Island, the home of Hasbro's headquarters, and he stopped by to let us know of a rather unique experience. Hasbro will be part of the annual Pawtucket Arts Festival. Their exhibition is titled: "From Sketches to Product Development of a Transformer Figure"
The exhibit will show several steps from design drawings all the way up to the finished product, to give people a little insight into how some of our favorite characters are immortalized in plastic. The figure in question is Stomp And Chomp Grimlock!
The annual Pawtucket Arts Festival will be displaying Hasbro's exhibit on Sunday, September 7th, from 2 to 5 PM, with a speaking program scheduled at 3 PM. The Art Festival is open to the public and everyone is invited to enjoy this once in a lifetime chance to see behind the curtain and see how the wizards at Hasbro bring us our own little Oz.
Hasbro also has a three month exhibit running from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Grimlock exhibit will be held at City Hall, 137 Roosevelt Ave, in downtown Pawtucket. You can read additional information about this event by clicking here:
