Is there any age that if you collect transformers or any toys at that age it is considered stupid or whatever? I don't think so I love having my room filled with Bayformers(yeh I mostly have movie toys, so what!?)
what am I supposed to do with them when I'm older? I haven't kept the boxes :/

Life is too short to worry about age, Do what you want with it if collecting transformers gives you a buzz in life enjoy it as long as you can to make even better take some out of the box if not all of them.
You should have kept some boxes i even keep the packets i just cut along the bottom and down the side of the plastic.

/\ this. Don't feel to old yet and I don't like keeping them in the boxes, from now on I will keep the box. The first box I ever kept was DOTM Megatron's. And if I ever sell them, they will be in cardboard boxes with bubble rap LOL
Seriously tho, I don't think there is a "too old" for any hobby. It's a matter of enjoying it. Once toys stop making you happy, it's time to stop. I like TFs because they engage my mind- I love modding them to work and look better, and I love analyzing their designs and marveling at the transformations. (And making pew-pew sounds once in a while.) I hope I never "outgrow" that.
-Gus 948 TFs and counting. (They're like rabbits, those killer rabbits from Monty Python!)

ill be honest as others have said youre never too old but having said that when it becomes tiresome or difficult to transform them due to age related causes (arthritis) and the like it can feel pointless to continue. as far as the boxes everything goes up in value over time maybe incrementally and some more than others but in 20-30 yrs your figures may not be worth a fortune but youll sell them and make out just fine. just enjoy them for as long as you physically/ mentally can and keep growing the collection.

Well I'm 42, have my own kids and still haven't found out the answer to that question. I guess I'll be too old when I'm dead......or broke. Whichever comes first.
