I still have my (mostly complete) Fort Max from childhood but I'm still preordering this anyway. Too sweet to pass up. I am not, however, paying $50 extra just to get it early :-)

Agreed. waited 20 years for this might as well wait another 4 weeks

Im assuming those MP Rumble and Ravage go with the MP soundwave. Sigh, That thing mocks me, I both want it and wish it was just a teensy bit cheaper . However, this Jet Vehicon General intrigues me, and to an extent so does "darkest" megatron. Maybe a Darkness megs without all that chrome :???: or 'gulp' with more chrome

Holy freakin' balls :CON: ...done and done on the $349.99 preorder for Fort Max!! I always wanted him as a kid and was able to get the Korean knock off version during RID.I liked him but he wasn't complete...sold him last year  . This totally makes up for it! Consider my mind :michaelbay: . Long live Big Bad Toystore.

Encore Fort max! Time to stop eating crappy school food for a few months.

Darkest Megatron? As much chrome as you put on it, it's still a pass, I'm happy with my PRID one. Jet vehicon General? Probably a Jet vehicon in dark colours (Ala regular Car Vehicon colours). If so, I'm on, never got the Jet vehicon.

As for TG, the price is too damn high for me to even be interested. Might just get TG Bruticus, and hasbro for the rest. Takara makes Hasbro FOC look dirt cheap.

Fort Max?! Holy crap yes!

Might as well grap the masterpiece cassettes and a jet Vehicon while I'm at it.

I picked up the RID version several years ago and felt it was incomplete not having the weapons and all, but I can't justify $350 even though he's worth it.

Wow, what timing! Up until last week, I would have preordered that Fort Max without a thought. But now? Do I go back on my decision to downsize my collection? I already have the RiD version (with gun and sword!) and I'm thinking about getting rid of it.

Fort Max, MP Ravage, MP Rumble.

:BOOM: :BOOM: :BOOM:

Not sure if two cassettes should come in at the $59.99 mark though. I would have thought releasing Rumble and Frenzy together would have made more sense so they didnt have to specify which color goes to which character. I think Frenzy will be red, based on the original toy name. Also, what about that shadowy MP-10 picture, was someone trolling us?

$60.00 for MP Rumble/Ravage??? I know BBTS likes to price gouge hot new items but that sounds pretty crazy to me. Just another reason to wait for Hasbro to release their version next year.

I'm still betting MP Soundwave will be a SDCC'13 exclusive and already include all the cassettes, and not cost me $300+.

Time to start saving for that Fort Max. Lol. Thank god BBTS has the pre-order. If it's due in April I should have the cash put together, but one never knows when an emergency will arise :/ Hopefully their won't be any...

I sense next year is going to be a year of very few figure purchases.

Oh Masterpieces.

I would be happy to have a Fort Max, but I am happier to have the $350 he would cost.

I will be requesting the MP cassettes as a Xmas present.

I like the idea of re-issuing Foer Max. Im not going to be buying him, but this will help drive down the price of the original to something more realistic in todays economy.

As much as I wont' question buying them, I have to agree 60 bucks for the two cassettes seems outrageous. That's half the price of Soundwave himself. There's not half a masterpiece between the two.

Still...Ravage...I have to have him. I've waited for a MP Ravage since MP01. :CON:

Nah, just one that's within easier reach. I'm praying e-Hobby will do either a Grand or Brave Maximus repaint, with all accessories including the sword.

I own Fortress Maximus, Grand Maximus and Brave Maximus. I can't wait for Encore Fortress Maximus. I also hope that they will do this smart and do the other two as well. It'll be nice to see so many people getting to enjoy the largest Transformers toy yet. Kudos to Takara for finally doing it after all of these years.

I'm for sure not moving on this until it gets closer to release. I'll pay it, but 60 is crazy.

Maybe now would be an appropriate time to launch Grand Maximus' gallery. Hm ...

Not just that, but maybe sticky the Fortress Maximus gallery for a bit? Only fitting, especially considering the possibility of e-Hobby releasing Grand (once they find the mold for the Pretender shell that is)

Huge Transformers News....?

Hmmm large sum of money on an obselete giant brick or awesome 3rd party homage, now thats a difficult decision! :CON:
For that price they need to articulated him into some sort of super Transformer!

Regarding the Masterpiece Evil Cassettes, do we know their sizing yet? Could I be right in saying they will be around the same size as the KO Oversized Cassettes that turn up every now and then?

Keen to keep picking up more Generations figures when ever we finally get them over here in the United Kingdom, Foc and Prime too! :P

Even though the shipping costs (and eventual customs costs) to Europe are through the roof, Encore FM is pre-ordered!!! Still going to end up cheaper for me than Brave Maximus was :D

(...)

Considering MP Soundwave was shown at a show holding a regular G1 mini-casette, I'm guessing the MP-15 cassettes will actually be around that size, so... pretty small (but much more intricate!).

This is the one Transformer I would have never guessed they'd reissue! Great news. I have no regrets about buying the original 2 years back but I will def. buy this one too.

Here's hoping they also reissue Grand Max! I really hope this is not some fake April fools joke. I would be Max'd out!
