Pretty much every TRU around here looks like this.

And to think i was going to stop in there yesterday and see if things had changed. Good thing i didn't waste my time. It hasn't improved at all since i was last there and posted a pic a month ago!

Ridiculous.

@Kirbenvost....the TRU on Broadway near Granville isn't any better. Bleak days indeed. With that much BB stock in this town and that being just at one store, I don't see us getting anything new anytime soon. Honestly, that metro town TRU has over 140 BB's sitting on the shelves and hanging on the pegs and with all the other stores basically looking the same way...........bleak days indeed. #-o

How do they get rid of that much stock? It's not going to sell so what's the contingency plan in place for stores that overstock like this?
How can someone so grossly miscalculate their stock?

Another Walmart, in Kannapolis NC. I'd say this one looks better, but I think saying it looks the least bad is more accurate.

Weah, we Canadians were lucky enough to have the Prime First Editions... along with that shitload of FE Bees.

Sigh...

Will we EVER get the rest of the Prime RiD toys meaning Voyager Blukhead and Starscream, and deluxes that are NOT Bee, Wheeljack, Soundwave, and Cliffjumper?

Not unless you can convince some millionaire to buy up all the excess Bumblebees and send them to a landfill, probably. :/

Yeah, US is already on Wave 4 and we haven't even got Wave 2 yet, lol. Well, Ratchet is something everyone needs to get but the rest I feel are mediocre. Anyways, TRU West Edmonton;

Yeah, Broadway (Bowmac) TRU is my usual store but I haven't been there in months because there's never anything new. I just happened to be at Metro so I decided to take some pics for the cause!

Yeah, I really don't think we're going to see PRID wave 2 very soon. Maybe once the holidays roll around, if we're lucky... :-(

We need a new thread called "The Bot-Shot Plague". I know there are some here who like them, and that's cool, but where BB isn't oversaturating the pegs, these damn things are. As in this picture at a local Meijers where every bit of TF peg space is dominated by Bot-Shots. There aren't even any pegs assigned to Prime deluxe figures. It's all these darn things!

The difference is that Bot Shots actually sell, unlike Bumbleplague.

Damn kids!

It's funny becuase it's what we are told it true. If you dare mention too many Bumblebees, white knights tell you allllllll about how much the kids love him, thus justifying what is obviously an oversaturation, and Hasbro cares nothing for us as fans, focusing all of their attention on children.

Quoting myself just to point out a little something.

For what I can count based on the photo and the info:

27 Prime RiD Bees
+
46 mother **** FE Bees
+
13 DotM Bees.

TOTAL: 86 Bees. A real swarm.

VS

3 Prime Rid Cliffy
+
3 FE Cliffy
+
3 FE Screamers
+
24 various DotM deluxes.

TOTAL: 30 Non Bee deluxe transformers, ALL of them (maybe minus the 3 RiD Cliffy) Are old stuff.

RATIO: Almost 3 Bees for one other TF.[/quote]

That is really amazing. If you could see a display like that and still somehow maintain the myths that BBs somehow fly off the shelves due to the adoration of children, you are very severely in denial.

I dont have a picture, but at my local TrU, they decided they had enough with The Hive.

All deluxe Transformers are at the regular price of 17$+taxes but every single Bees have a "7$ off on the regular price for Bees only". So, that mean they are at 10$, no matter what.
If you did not have your Bees by then, do so now. The FE and RiD and DotM Bees are all great figures. It's just that when everyone have theirs, nobody buy them enymore, which result in a very slower shelving rotation.

They still have a lot. So let's hope they get cleared out fast so we can finally get the second wave of Prime RiD deluxe figures over here.

Wish we did that at our wal-mart: it's now quite literally gotten to the point if any new deluxes come out, I'll have to get them online or hope the 'Bees sell down. We have two pegs for Prime deluxes, and they take up 1.5 of them.

...though alternatively at least the voyagers are selling steadily.

I think the problem is that Bee has been a big fav among kids since the first Micheal Bay film so everyone has enough Bees by now. There are a few TF kids in my family and they are all about Optimus Prime, Starscream and Soundwave. Mostly Optimus though. They can't seem to get enough. They don't want another Bee but they're always wanting the newest Optimus.

@OP I'm glad you pointed it out. I thought it may have just been a regional thing. Or that I was going crazy.

With my nephews and nieces, I definitely noticed Bumblebee being huge at the release of the first Bay movie. Over the years, like you said, they've transitioned into liking Optimus and Megatron more. *sigh of relief*
