What I want in a wave 4 Classic:

Arcee
Galvatron
Jazz
Sideswipe and SunStreaker
Unicron
Wheeljack
Thundercracker
Soundwave maybe but since there's already the old one...
Predaking would be a pretty cool addition too.

And why the hell don't they import the world's smallests? They would be much better than the minicons we got now.

Does anyone actually read other people's lists when they don't give reasons behind their choices?

I sure don't.

Amen brother!

I'd love to see a new Shockwave, he'd make a great classic.

Then Hound, as he was my original first Transformer way back in the day!

[quote="Scaleface"]I'd ve very happy if they released FULL SIZED versions of the Classic Legeends toys. A full sized Evac repaint as Whirl and the like.
[quote]

I knew I wasn't the only guy who wanted these

still for wave 4 I would have to say

Jazz
Bludgeon(should look like his shape from Strombringer)
Brawn
Shockwave
Prowl

Ofcourse knowing hasbro and what they did for the ARAH line for G.I.Joe we probaly won't see wave 4.

by NightBreaker
The rest of the Dinobots

The rest of the Seekers

The Insecticons

Galvatron
Shockwave
Blitzwing

Meh, that's all I can think of.

They didn't do Soundwave because of his release in the 6" titanium line and the Toys R Us reissue. At least that's according to Hasbro.

Don't forget Soundwave had a homage made for the last series.

Oh yeah, that's right. I totally spaced on Cyb/GF Soundwave. Still, I wouldn't bank on us seeing an new mold classics Soundwave. Heck, the 6" titanium is about the right size that a new classic one would be anyways. I've seen the comparison pics.

Yeah, but that titanium one sucks... the whole diaper thing throws it off, bad. If they could fix that I'd take that mold for a Classic... but if they don't? Meh. I'll pass. Overall, I'd like a true Classics Soundwave. Voyager-size, done in the same style as the others. Make all his tapes into minicons and then put out some Soundwave-tape minicon sets as one of the minicon waves. I'd actually buy some Classics minicons then!

I'd like to see Galvatron and Rodimus Prime in Voyager-size... perhaps a more expensive 2-pack? $30 or so... if they can do the Magnus/Skywarp one for $20 I don't see why not really.

The other 3 seekers definately, though Thundercracker is more the priority IMO.

Deluxe Wheeljack and more Deluxe-size Dinobots.

Deluxe Shockwave would be cool.

More Decepticons overall. I don't remember too many decepticons in particular, but I want the sides to be even, or closer to it. Right now the Autobots outnumber the Decepticons by 3.

Titanium Soundwave & Rodimus Prime have not made it out in the Seattle area yet. So I can't comment too much on Soundwave. But from the looks of his pictures I'll admit he does seem to have that diaper thing going on. But I just don't have any confidence Hasbro would do a new mold Classics Soundwave. With the reissue and Titanium out they're just not interested in making another Soundwave. I just think it sucks that they are not going past a wave 3 for the classics period.

Has Hasbro made an official announcement that the Classics line will end at wave 3? As someone recently said to me "Hasbro may put Classics on pause for the release of the movie toys as they don't want the 2 lines competeing against each other" and that could be true. They may not want 2 lines of the same product out on the market at the same time, especially when one has an upcoming movie to boast for it. Once the movie dies down, and if Bay's film doesn't kill off the franchise, Classics will probably resume production.

Octane. No one ever says Octane. Or maybe someone did, and I missed it.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the new Transformers cartoon supposed to begin airing in November? Hasbro is not going to want to have a competing line running with their movie line, after the movie comes out, be it good or bad. I think that the movie line will run up until the new cartoon begins, that way they are able to capitalize on the movie as much as possible, with both the big screen release and the DVD release. The reason we got the classics line was because there was no T.V. show on the air to help bring in the kids buying the toys, and they did not want to release the movie toys 6 months early. What really put the nail in the coffin for the classics line is the post that had an updated list of the movie figures. That list had Grimlock, Thundercracker, and Arcee, who are not even supposed to be in the movie. So I don't really see the classics line going much further after Devastator is released.

I would like to see them continue the line, but do it online. Since most of the characters that are being brought up are G1 then I don't see why Hasbro cannot just make the new figures available on their website. Most kids do not even know who a lot of the characters that are being updated really are.

Plus I only have "credit card" and it's my bank debit card
(it takes the money out of checking account)and I'm sure as hell not using it online.

My personal policy with buying anything online if they don't take Money Orders then I'm not going to deal with them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in the past two years I've seen always at least 3 of the followings on the shelves at the same time: Energon, Universe, Alternator, Cybertron, Titanium and Classic.

Last time I went to the local shop there were the last four of them. (not counting the older toys on sale like Armada Laserbeak...)

Personally I don't understand why the Titatiums are still getting new molds. And I don't see why Movie toys, Cartoon toys and classics couldn't be there at the same time. Where is the competition here? It's Hasbro who sells all them anyway.

I see a damn good reason- Not all of us can order online, and the rest of us overseas buyers probably don't want to wait three months for a figure that would normally cost us $20, which in this instance cost us $40 plus $20 postage.

my guess is they fear (with good reason) that the other lines (the cartoon and classics) would shadow the movie toys, because for the most part, the movie toys look like crap compared to the classics.

I think the best idea for Wave 4 of the Classics, is for there to be a 4th wave of classics. I'm sure if they make one, whomever they choose will probably be cool.

Ironhide and Rachet by the way :P

Lets try to stick to the topic at hand everyone. If you'd like to talk about why Hasbro is doing what they're doing feel free to start a new thread about it.

For wave four I would like to see the following:

Voyager:

Galvatron - new mould
Broadside - Stormbringer design

Deluxe:

Blitzwing
Thundercracker
Sideswipe
Wheeljack

If it we were lucky enough to see a wave five

Voyager:

Power Master Trailer for Prime

Deluxe:

Red Alert - Sideswipe repaint
Sunstreaker - Wheeljack remould / repaint

Oh, AND MONSTERBOTS! Classics Doublecross would kick ASS.
