Has anyone brought directly from IGEAR?
Considering using their shop as they're the only ones online that has the weapons set and the Kup head. Want to order these with the mini bots. And it's free shipping but I remember reading somewhere that they take weeks and have bad customer service? any opinions? thoughts?

Thanks in advance

I-Gear sent my friend a Rager with only 1 gun. After countless e-mails they would not respond and he gave up. Heard plenty of similar stories online. Do yourself a favor and drob the extra cash on e-bay. You wont regret it.

I've had no problems with them so far. I just got my PP05W and currently waiting on PP05M as well as Hench and UFO. But, if you really want some peace of mind, you're probably better off with RK, BBTS, TFSource, CapturePrey, and the likes. If you have issue with the package or the figure, these online retailers can easily fix/replace the figure for you.

I have used an Ebay seller called dragongames (not sure if thats the right spelling) whom seem to specialize in iGear products.
Plenty of comms, well packaged, good prices (to the U.K. at least).
Worth a try in my opinion! ;)

I've bought directly from them since the first MP01 rescales and have had no problems.

However, I have not had to contact them about anything either.

With "simple" items like the head sets and weapon sets you probably won't have any QC issues anyway, they are not a complex transforming bot, so I'd go through them.

If quality customer service is still a concern, go through BBTS or RobotKingdom.
Both have top notch customer service.

RK handled my Herc issue (1 bad Gestalt hand) and sent out a replacement in my next order.

Thanks for the insight everyone!

I've ordered through all of those retailers before and everyone is great esp RK my whole Herc was ordered through them and they handle my long haul hip issue great. But none of these retailers sill have the weapon set available so I will order them from Igear. I'll take note to not order anything big from them esp the Ironhide and Ratchet.

I cannot stress enough how TERRIBLE they are, as a retailer. Orders never arriving, hostile or non-existent customer service. I would stay well clear.

Only thing I've ever purchased directly from them was MGT-01 (Delicate Warrior).
Had no problems at all but also had no reason to contact them so I don't know about their customer service. Have heard/read plenty of horror stories though.

I ordered MGT-01(Arcee) and the first set of Kup heads. They never appeared. I badgered them until they relented and got my refund but it took a while. A few weeks after I got my refund, a battered box turned up. Inside was my MGT but no Kup heads. Did I contact them to let them know only part of my order turned up? Hell no. I got my Arcee for free. Still have to find those Kup heads for a decent price though. I love iGear products but their customer service is terrible. After that incident I will only go through trust worthy resellers, which is normally RobotKingdom for me.

I have never had to contact them for customer service as I have never had a problem with them. Everything showed up and was exactly as it was supposed to be. I have ordered the second run of Faith Leader, Arcee, Kup heads, MP Sunstorm, Rager, Spray, Bee, Ratchet and Ironhide. I do have the MP coneheads but ordered them from TFSource as it was $80 cheaper.

However it seems not everybody has had the same luck with them as me. Here's hoping Hench and UFO continue that luck.

I just recieved my PP05M and PP05W, and Weapons Specialist was in good condition...BUT my Medical Specialist was missing both of the black plastic wheels on the passenger side.

Contacted igear through both email and FB, no reply yet but its only been 2 days...kind of worried from what I have read on here so far but will keep my fingers crossed and post my results here...dont really want to end up with a Ratchet permanently missing two wheels.

Other than that the Ironhide is a totally awesome fig and I would recommend this set to anyone (but order from BBTS/TFsource or beware!)

So far I've had good luck with them as I've received everything I've ordered and free of QC issues. That said, I will NEVER pre-order anything through them again as it sounds like you're screwed if something is wrong with your order and you're beyond your Paypal coverage. If it's in stock and you're covered by Paypal it's less of a gamble, but make sure any issue is resolved before that coverage elapses as it sounds like they try to screw people over by stringing them along beyond the 45 or 60 days, whatever it is. Or just order from a reputable site and don't worry about it...

UPDATE: today recieved an email from iGear (two and a half days after emailing them) and some customer service rep said they would send my missing wheels to the address of my original order.

seems to be going okay so far...but since it took the actual bots 2 weeks to get here, wont know for a while...

iGear does have a live chat option for contacting them through msn. why not use that?

If you have a tracking # you should be good to go.

It takes a bit, their free shipping seems a bit on the slow side, but it keeps me coming back to them.

FINAL update:

just today in the mail I received the replacement plastic wheels for my Medical Specialist.

So, looking at the dates of my last posts, 28 days since I first contacted their customer service about my missing wheels in the first place.

Not to bad considering they shipped from Hong Kong, and if I remember correctly, this is about the same amount of time I waited for the actual bots to get here after I got my first shipment confirmation email.

I bought PP05W from them and aside from the long delay in getting the product, they delivered and it was excellent. the few times I did contact them, I received an update within a couple of days; I believe them to be non-native english speakers, so there may be some problems in translation. I kept my messages short, concise and courteous and got good responses in turn

Doesn't matter, will probably take 6 months to deliver once the preorder is up.

Not to say I won't preorder immediately, because I'm sure I will as I've done with several of their previous products. But I just don't get why the past two years have been plagued with delays.
