Finally got a dealer table for once and did quite well at it. Going to try for it again in the future and see if lightning can strike twice for me lol.

Ryan, your gonna hate me. Picked up a nucleon quest Convoy from a board member a few weeks ago and snagged a fire Guts Ginrai at Dairycon a couple weeks back

Is ToyCon the thing down in Bridgeport? If so ... I haven't been to that in about 8 to 10 years. Keep meaning to go check it out one of these times. Glad to hear you had some fun at it being a dealer. I love buying and selling Transformers.

As for your recent acquisitions, congrats! They're two recent wants of mine. Kind of bummed that I missed a really good opportunity to buy a Fire Guts for $180 at BotCon. Just waiting for the right price on a Nucleon Quest Convoy. Prefer sealed on both, but would be just as happy with stickers unapplied. Just need to find them at the right price. If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for them?

Nothing new in Rockford today. TRU had 14 Bunblebee deluxes (down from 20) and no other choices for deluxe sized. I guess that means someone out there actually doesn't have BB...I thought EVERYONE did...

Just this morning, Walmart in Glen Ellyn, Rt. 53 and Butterfield, has one each of TFP Voy Starscream and Bulkhead. $19.96.

And very little else- a bunch of DOTM Deluxes at either 7.26 or 9-something (2 conflicting tags) and DOTM Cyberverse figs.

Target Woodridge, 63rd St had nothing new- no TFP Deluxes beyond Bumblebee and Cliffjumper, no Leaders other than Optimus, and no Cyberverse Dreadwing or Ironhide.

They did, however, have the GI Joe Skystriker jet clearanced at $17.xx, so I bit. anybody seen it cheaper? If you do, please LMK so I can get the difference back. The original Skystriker was one of the single most awesome Christmas gifts I ever received- still have it, in rough shape but mostly complete IIRC, so this will display nicely with it.

Realized today that I don't have that Bumblebee. I fail.

What's going on my friend!

Had a crazy busy weekend. If any of you are looking for the new Cyberverse figures, check out your local Meijer. Saw some on Saturday, but was getting ready for a BBQ at my house and had family in town over the weekend so didn't get a chance to post.

What's new in your world, dahpadre? How's the fam? See any awesome movies lately?

Everything has been pretty good. I can't complain about much. I do find myself getting fickle with my job. I really want to start a store dedicated to this hobby. Maybe more of a hybrid between BBTS, Toynk, and TFSource. I would say strictly TF's, but there is a large market for Marvel, DC, McFarlane sports, etc. I think it would just be easier doing something I love to do rather than what I "have" to do.

As for sightings, I've pretty much seen the now usual suspects of cyberverse and deluxe. I have seen voyagers Starscream and Bulkhead quite often. IF not for my case order from BBTS I'd be without RID Vehicon.

Movies: Avengers is so far the most awesome superhero movie I've seen. Dark Knight to me is in a different category so I won't compare the two. MIB3 was also decent to me. Could have been a few more aliens, but still a solid outing for the franchise.

Target by Woodfield Mall had one TFP Hotshot, so apparently at least one Vehicon WAS there at some point.

Walmart in Glen Ellyn was a TF wasteland this morning, there were more tumbleweed than toys. Gah.

Fireguts and Soundblaster were a package deal for $330 I worked out at Dairycon, I about pooped myself when I saw some guy had Fireguts for $180 at Botcon. Been ages since I found one under $330 alone for Fireguts. DahPadre was over here the day before Dairycon(I picked up a ton of TF stuff buying a collection) and I remarked I wanted a Fireguts and the next day I ended up with one lol

Nucleon Quest was $200 from a board member a while ago now. I think I did okay on them.

Both are getting hard to find, at least examples to buy already in the states at least.
