The Woodfield/Schaumburg TRU had 2 MP Sunstorms and 2 MP Prowls around 1pm. They also had the Bumblebee Evo 2 pack. For the non-Tf stuff, they had the new Marvel 6" Legends -- Cyclops and Wolverine. And Quake West has their 30% coupon today.

TRU on Butterfield had a few BB Evolution sets tonight, grabbed one. No MPs though.

That Dani fig does look pretty good, maybe it was a weird angle I saw before.

The Target on Higgins and National Parkway in Shaumburg has Sky Bite and Roadbuster. They used to have two Roadbusters and one Sky Bite...now they only have Roadbuster.

Coincidentally, I have Sky Bite and Roadbuster.

On the hunt still for Slog, rat trap, & tankor. The southwest is getting very little love as far as the IDW series is concerned.

Walmart in Bloomingdale had one 1-Step Crosshairs, what I snatched up. No new AoE Legends/Scouts sets. And no Roadbuster or Sky-Byte at the Target next door either.

Our area does not have AOE Voyager Class Slog or Drift yet. According to an employee I talked to, the Joliet distribution center that services the Toys R Us stores in the Chicagoland area and NW Indiana only has 132 AOE Voyager Class figures (33 cases) for the whole area which is probably left over wave 1. Since the rest of the country seems to be getting Slog and Drift, I'm estimating that we should receive them by late next week. Fingers crossed!

At the Rolling Meadows Walmart, I did find the Walmart 2 packs with the Dinobot repaints of Terrorsaur, Cruellock and Killerpunch as Strafe, Grimlock and Slug respectively. Other than this store, none of the other Walmarts between here and Aurora had anything remotely new other than I did find a Drift at the Downer's Grove 75th St Walmart which I bought to fix something that is wrong with the one that I already have.

I just returned from the Schaumburg/Woodfield TRU. I bought the last AOE Voyager Drift and Slog they had on the shelves. So if you're lucky, you might find them at some of the other TRUs in the area. Good hunting! :)

Thanks, Seibertron. Like you, I've been spending hours the past few days, driving around to every store, trying to find these. I just got lucky I guess. You'll find them soon. I'm guessing they'll start appearing at more stores this weekend.

I went to the Bloomingdale K-Mart today in search of the Platinum Evasion Prime & Grimlock 2 pack. Unfortunately, they did not have it. They did however have a handful of the new Dinofire Grimlock Construct-Bot set. It looks pretty cool, but I passed on it. As for the Platinum Prime & Grimlock set -- I just bit the bullet and ordered it on-line thru K-Mart's website. There aren't too many K-Marts by me, so this ended up being the best option.

Thanks for participating in the Illinois Sightings forum, by the way! Great to see some more members helping out.

In the world of Transformers Sightings, I found the Walmart exclusive AOE Legion Class toys at the brand new Walmart in Skokie near the Lincoln Mall. Apparently the store just opened up last week. The four figures I found were the Legion Class Stinger, Grimlock, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Only 2 Optimus Primes were left. This store also had the new 2 packs: Grimlock with Optimus, Slug with Stinger, and Strafe with Bumblebee. I think there were at least 2 each but I didn't really pay attention since I already had them. Nice new store!

I picked up the only Rescue Bots Mini-Dinobot Chase and Boulder at the Golf Mill Target. Nothing else new at this store other than the Remote Control Optimus and Bumblebee.

Nothing new at the Golf Mill TRU except it did have the wave 2 AOE Generations Deluxe figures Drift, Slash and Strafe.

I forgot to stop at the Golf Mill Walmart.

Highland Park TRU didn't have anything new. There were approximately 3 Voyager Evasion Optimus and 3 Voyager Grimlocks there but I'm pretty sure those would be leftovers from wave 1 and not part of the wave 3 voyager assortment with Drift and Slog.

Highland Park Target didn't have anything new either.

No Lockdown, Roadbuster or Sky-Byte figures were found at any of the stores that I visited today.

I also meant to mention yesterday that I stopped at the Ottawa Walmart off 80 on our way back from Starved Rock near Utica, IL. While that store might have had the nicest selection (or at least quantity) of Transformers toys that I've seen at a Walmart in a really long time, the only things of interest were the deluxe Strafe, Drift and Slash. There were at least a half dozen of each of them there.

Joliet TRU didn't have anything new yesterday.

Downer's Grove TRU on Butterfield didn't have anything new yesterday either other than a lone Voyager EV Optimus and Grimlock which I didn't see there last Thursday so I'm assuming they were leftover from a Voyager case with Slog and Drift that they must have received over the weekend while I was at Starved Rock.

For you Marvel guys, I saw a couple of new TRU exclusive Marvel Legends with Jubilee BAF at the Highland Park TRU and both Niles and Highland Park had the new Guardians Marvel Legends. Both stores also had the first wave of Marvel Infinite series which was the first time that I had seen those in brick-and-mortar stores (pre-Death's Head wave).

The Willowbrook Target, on Rt 83 had a huge restock of all sorts of toys as well as shuffling what isles the toys were in. Lots of new Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy (including a Marvel Legends Nova), Marvel Infinite, Captain America, and Spider-Man.

Alas, the newest transformers they had were Voyager Galvatron and Hound.

Congrats on finding the figures! Hey, if you ever get around to opening up Drift -- I'm curious to know if you get stress marks around his thumbs when you insert his sword. I had that issue and I saw another case on-line.

BTW, was the legends 2 pack with Cosmos and the other with Swerve ever released in the NW 'burbs. I've been looking for months, but I never came across them.

I just got Roadbuster, Sky Byte, and Rat Trap from my local comic book store, Amazing Fantasy books and comics down in Frankfort.

The Voyagers were $23.99 and Rat Trap was $15.99. These guys were special ordered through a new distribution system they have. Right now they are out, but they may get more in this coming Wednesday.

Try giving them a call at (815) 469-5092.

They might be able to preorder guys for future waves for you too.

Yah they were released. Targets around here had them it seemed for like 2 weeks a couple of months ago, maybe before AOE products hit or right around that time period. They were snatched up really quickly and that was it! Gone before you knew it in a couple of weeks.

Slog and Drift are tough. Basically each store is getting 1 each. If someone was there before you, that's it for the time being. Fortunately we live in an area were there are a kagillion TRU stores so if you listen and watch closely you should be able to figure out which stores have what for the time being. I knew the pair showed up at Schaumburg TRU almost the week before but didn't show up at Golf Mill so I knew exactly what day to show up at Golf Mill to find mine. Admittedly, I got lucky because I showed up an hour after opening but my strategy still worked!

Hey guys,

I'll be moving to Springfield in a couple weeks, so if any TF fans or groups would like to meet up for a coffee or a beer that'd be cool. ^_^
