I didn't even realize BBTS had pre-orders up for him yet. My distributor for the Seibertron Store said they wouldn't be shipping until late June (around BotCon time). I'm really surprised BBTS got a shipment in this early, as well as Diamond Distributors apparently.

The store I was referencing and the store it looks like Dah padre is referencing is Amazing Fantasy books and comics in Frankfort.

(815) 469-5092

If you are looking for transformers stuff, Mike is the guy who takes care of all that there. I usually put in my pre-orders through him. About 50% of the time I am getting the new figures a few weeks before they really start showing up in local retailers.

Like most comic shops, if you have a pull box, they will also give you a discount on your purchases.

I appreciate the info! What I really need to do is open up an account with Diamond so that I can order the toy's directly from them for the seibertron store as well as comics.

Very nice, I'm glad to hear they are finding success with that. Unfortunately, its on the opposite end of the city for me.

On a different note, Hasbrotoyshop has Hotspot in stock. With him ordered I just need to find Rook now.

Good to know this stuff is showing up around here. Aside from 2 each of the Combiner Wars Megatrons that have been shelf warming at my Walmart in Mount Prospect, I haven't seen anything new at Golf Mill Walmart, Mount Prospect Walmart, Golf Mill TRU or Rosemont Target in quite a long time.

That Howard-Evanston target seems to be the best, it is where I got First Aid, Blades and Streetwise the other week as well. I've seen the Niles-Touhy Target have the Groove wave of legends periodically. No signs of anything new in Golf Mill area when I make my way out that way either (unless you count miraculously scoring an Ike Amiibo)

A little off topic for a moment ... just wanted to say that it's great to have all of you participating on our Illinois Sightings forum here on Seibertron.com. Hopefully we can continue to build this and have a Seibertron.com get together soon. Maybe I'll host a BBQ or something later this summer.

Are you guys planning on being there? We usually do the Seibertron.com Bar Meetup on Friday night of BotCon starting around 8:30pm. Haven't found out about the bar at the hotel yet but I'm sure we can make do with whatever is there. I'll probably bring some beer along as well to keep it a little cheaper than ordering beers at the bar all weekend long since I'm local. :D

I was at the howard-evanston Target this morning for Amiibos, they randomly had Rook and First Aid on the shelf that werne't there last night. I grabbed the Rook, so now once my hasbrotoyshop order gets in, Defensor will be joining the fight.

So the last wave of AoE Power Battlers has hit Ross stores, so please post here if you see them! Might be worth it to check TJ Maxx and Marshalls/Home Goods too.

Result! I found one Vehicon at Ross on Mannheim and 290, Hillside? 5.99. They had a couple AoE Deluxes at the same price, New Bee and Lockdown, namely. I grabbed an extra Bee to replace a part on mine that I lost.

None at the Ross on Butterfield in Downers Grove though.

that would be kinda cool! I know this is wishful thinking, but what if you crowdfunded renting out one of those restaurants that has those big conference rooms! I wonder if people would fly in for that!

Golf Mill TRU had 1 Motormaster on the bottom shelf. Seems all of the Super Bumblebees were gone if I recall correctly. Had some of the Hyperchange 3-Step Steeljaws as well. Oh ... and Shopkins Series 3 which made my daughter very happy on her last day of Kindergarten. She was very happy to see her little surprise Daddy grabbed for her amongst the horde of 20 women snatching Shopkins as fast as you could see! I've never seen anything like this before except at conventions.
