Lol, they better say "Thanks!". He's made them millions, if not billions of dollars!

Bay-cotter: NOOOOOOO!!!! This isn't supposed to happen! They're supposed to hate him! My plan has FAILED! (weeps bitterly) It's over...it's all over...

He does definitely deserves their thanks. He made them a TON of money. He put a lot of work into it too...and took a lot of heat from the fans.
Congratulations Michael Bay!

Furthermore, Bay owes me three sets of new pants by now.

I like the way they crossed out the word "friends". You get to choose your friends but your family is forced upon you!!

;)

Nah, hes done after this movie. I cry myself to sleep at night on the dreams that a reboot will come with a competent director, and writer, and whomever else the not-so-hardcore-bayformer fans like to blame.

Soooo, they did it to suck up to Bay so he'll hire them again, and Bay put it on his website to prove to the world that somebody likes him?

Asskissing and bragging, that's all I see.

SSSSSHHHHHHHH! You'll anger the Bayformer fans. They're pretty rabid these days...

I have no idea what it takes to direct a trilogy of this magnitude. A thankyou seems a minimum. How about some profit shares?

I'd like to thank him too. Hopefully these movies will capture the minds of another generation and keep this franchise alive for another 26 years! WOOO! :APPLAUSE:

Gee, thanks. I'm glad to know I'm rabid. I'll have to stay away from anyone who dislikes the movies now so I don't infect them.

And I'm positive Bay is done with Transformers. I think he's had enough with the death threats. There's really no sucking up needed; he's moving on from Transformers.
The question is: Is Hasbro money-hungry enough to get some guy to direct a reboot series?

No matter what I think of him as a director for these three movies, they made an obscene amount of money and because of that more will be made. So the man deserves his props.

And I am also positive that Bay is done with Transformers. These movies take a lot of time to make and he has stated that he would like to move on to other projects. Maybe even a independent type movie or two. So yeah, he's done.

Bay certainly could not have had a more difficult fan base to satisfy. Honestly, I feel kinda bad for the guy. He does 3 spectacular summer blockbusters that made tons of cash and helped sell millions of plastic marvels! The whole time being badgered by fans (including myself). Ultimately, I think his contribution to the Transformers universe was a positive one. The brand is so unique and developed that this chapter of diversity will only multiply the demographic. Win.

Good to see that Hasbro recognizes what Bay's done for them and the fanbase. :APPLAUSE:

You've got that right, it seems everything that comes out half of us like and half of us hate.

We're less like a unified nation and more like little island nations in constant war. Civil wars are common too. :P

People are people no matter where you go. Each with their own likes, dislikes, and tolerances. It's silly to assume we're any worse than any other fandom. There are a lot of absolutely scary crazy people out there! It'd be bonkers in here if they were only TF fans...
