thought ide take an opportunity to say a few things about this future web comic ive been promising
first off, im probably not going to be able to do the colors as in depth as these character images, simple because of the time it takes, and the time i have allowed to work on this massive projects. so colors will be a little more simplified.
second, there are deaths, and most that die do not come back.
there is one death in particular of a human character that may end up being quite brutal. but it is a major point in the development of one of the most important characters.
some of the characters in my story that are g1 based, my seem quite a bit diffrent then theire origional namesakes.
for example, ratchets inventions do work. and hes not quite so scattorbrained, but is very brooding, for reasons i wont divulge.
starscream is stil first and formost a scientist, and many fear the thought of being the subject of his gruesom experiments.
and as if megatron wasnt fanaticle enough,
most of what made him who he is is still there, his ultimate desire for power, tyranical and ruthles, but theres also a religious aspect to him
he sort of beleives hes on a holy crusade, bestowed upon him by primus himself.
just to name a few things.
after seeing many of the less then faveorable responces to new stories, ideas and character concepts, i decided it might be prudent to give that heads up, that way if people wont think they will like my ideas, they wont have to read them, and type out unholy rants of hatred.
though, i honestly think everyong wwill like my story in the long run
also as ive shown in previous pics, i do have fembots
i totaly agree theres no logical purpose for females in an all robot society, but damnit i just love fembots of all kinds. so, i made my own logical reaso for them to exists.
somewhat pracitcal, and it also gives insite as to why megatron wanted to eliminate all of them
now then, down to the real dirt. im gonna post a quick plot synopsis of the part one of the first era of my story, if you want to wait to see it for yourself, dont highlite the rest of this
Rebirth: part one
our story opens up on the final days of the great war on cybertron. Though the Autobots vastly outnumber the Decepticons, they are no match for thier superior skill and power, and prepare to make thier last stand for survival. the tides of war erupt into a great cataclismic explosion, which shatters almost a quater of Cybertron, sending the tiny planet off its orbit, and hurtleing through space
Rebirth: part 2
to save theyre seemingly doomed planet, Megatron and Optimus call a truce, and combine thier efforst in an attempt to clear a path for Cybertron from an impending asteroid belt. Mgeatron however has plans for after the danger is averted. Optimus, predicting this betrayal, hand selects his finest fighter, in order to quell the attack. the resulting battle sends both hero and villan alike on a one way trip to a long hybernation, on a mysterious planet.
Rebirth: part3
Former G.I.Joe cheif technition, Carl "Sparkplug" Whitwicky
is considered the greatest mechanic in the world. But he is troubled of late, his eldest son has disowned him, his adopted son has dissapeared, and his yougest has become a delinquint.
He is asked to examin a strage technological device found near a newly formed volcano, to detirmin if it might have been of cobra make, or something else. Not wanting to loose another child, he takes his son Spike with him.
after exploreing the investigation site, the volcano rumbles, and the long dormant ship becomes active. its friend or foe program corrupted, it brings Megatron and the decepticons back online. Not wanting to risk Autobots coming back online too, megatron erases teletran1's main memory banks, but not before starscream slips someing into it unseem
\Sparkplug and spike watch in aww and horror as feasrom giant robots rise up from the volcano and into the air. Sparckplug ventures in deeper, only to find a rather out of place yellow vw, that squeeks at them... "wha... what are you?"
The Edge
Sparkplug and spike are introduced to Bumblebee, who tells them of the autobots and the decepticons, and theyre age long war. Sparkplug decides to get the autobots back online, to keep the decepticons from destroying thier world. but teletran1's databanks are erased, and without a template, they cant be put back together again. somehow though, teletran1 was able to restore bee, by scanning an earth vehicle nearby. fortunatly, sparkplug nows the details of every machine known to man, but since hes not a machin, they can only restore a few at a time.
Optimus looks over everybodies new earth modes, and decides it could be the chance to end the war once and for all, "We know what they look like, but they dont know what we look like" The autobots spring a trap, and for the veriy first time, win against the decepticons.
Retaliation.
Megatron is furious at thier loss, and commands all Decepticons be refitted with new earth alts. they seek out the autobots hopeing to spring a counter attack trap, but the the decepticons new alt modes are far more conspicous then the autobots. the decepticons fail yet again, while starscream stirs up unrest.
megatron flies off to learn more about thier new world, and encounters a human calling himself the doctor, who convinces megatron that he can help the decepticons defeat thier enemies.
Equal mass
the decepticons attack a power plant, and the autobots ride to intervine, but are quicly over taken megatron and soundwave seem to appear out of nowere. theyre new mass displacement technology almost destroyes the autobots, when a mysterious robot attacks both sides and sends them packing.
The Doctor is revealed to be sparkplugs missing adopted son Rathamon, who has joined forces with the decepticons, and has started to form an unusual, and unlikley friendship with megatron.
Scourge
The mysterious robot reveals himself to be Scourge, and calls himself a harbinger of the future. He begins to randomly attack diffrent spots all over the world, when a military group, led by Buster Whitwhicky try to bring him down. Megatron and Optimus Both try to confron thier new foe, but end up confronting eachother, while Spike tries to stop Rathamon and buster from nearly killing eachother. Spike is criticly harmed in the process.
Powerglider
Rathamon brings Spike to the autobot base, and along with thier father, tries desperatly to save his life. the battle between otpimus, megatron and scourge continues, while a figure from the shadows attempts to take all 3 out. Scourge retreats, leaving a battered prime and Megatron to deal with eachother. Spikes new exosuit saves his life, and whats more, allows him to become an autobot, sparkplug tries to talk to rathamon, who flees the scene, and runs to megatrons aid, leaving behind his new boombox.
Legends
magnus arrives on earth, hunting shokwave, who apperently came to earth looking for the mythical armor of primus. the starchart they followed was made by starscream, when this fact is discovord, starscream bnegins to scour the planet, and finds his long lost firend, skyfire. the 2 friends are reunited, only to be torn apart by war. skyfire, determined to stop his old friend, refits himself for war, and becomes jetfire.
War and beasts Part 1
Megatron can no longer stand the failurs incurred once arriving on earth, so he modifies a handfull of his soldiers, and grants them all a fraction of a spark of one of the legendary metro titans.
The autobots decide that theire beaten ship, and active volcano is no longer a safe haven, and decide to look for a spot for a new base.
the decepticons attack, and just when it seeems like the autobots have one, megatron unleashes his new weapon, Devestator.
War and Beasts Part 2
Devastator begines to mangle the aotobots. but then Magnus returns to save the day. but the tide turns once again, when scourge returns with his new army. a swarm of robot insects, who seem hungry for everyone, and everything.
as the battle ensues, a rumble from the volcano opens up a seald off section of the ship, and General Grimlock is awakend, but his core proccessor is corroded, and he seems insane
welp, thats it for all of part one. i guess if you read these, you can sort of tell which parts have more action, and which parts have more story. anyway, hope you enjoyed this little taste, but if not, sorry
but this is how i evision and dream it.
next couple of days, ill post up a finished skudd, and a couple others (i hope)
