And that's the case here. Takara gave them the more expensive super shiny and more game-accurate paint while forgoing some of the more spotty, random paint apps that Hasbro used. Generations preceptor the Hasbro version got the chrome treatment.
Reveal the Shield Perceptor may have had chrome, but United Perceptor was painted far more than Hasbro's. Just look at the altmodes. Hasbro's = plain, Takara's = colorful.gothsaurus wrote:Wow. Yeah, that's the only example I can think of. That must have been Takara Hasbro opposites day.
Though, an example of Hasbro toys having more paint than Takara's would be the entire Prime Arms Micron line from Takara vs. Hasbro's Prime Robots in Disguise line.
