new molds would not hurt either.
Here is why I have to disagree with you. The Alternity (based on the series) are highly evolved versions of the Cybertron and Destron. The toys based on this series are not their actual forms, but rather auto-avatars. Because of this, their auto-avatar forms are based on what class they represent and their current color scheme.
For example: Convoy, an alternate Convoy, Black Convoy, Ultra Magnus, and Dai Atlas all share what could be dubbed a leader-class form. The same goes for Megatron and Galvatron.
Does it mean that their actual forms resemble these forms? Highly unlikely. But it is easy to assume that by the time this series started, Convoy was sporting a silver finish... Instead of a black finish in G-2.
As for these two figures, however... I have to agree on the need to pass. Banzai-Tron looks great, and it is good to see him get a proper introduction to the Japanese G1 timeline. But he does nothing for me, even though I wonder if he was a Seeker in his own timeline. And Galvatron does even less for me.
So if I had to choose, I'd prefer seeking out the last three Convoy Corp. members I (technically) need before I try to obtain these.
