FellintoOblivion wrote:Is Ultra Magnus a straight repaint of Prime? Maybe it's just the photography but he seems to be a lot bulkier in the chest. It's probably just camera trickery though since the head doesn't seem as tiny but there's no room to make it bigger.

The only difference to the mold is the head and extra weapons.

I wouldn't get my hopes up that these come looking as awesomely painted when they hit shelves. These look like promo shots and those always get extra paint apps.

These are definitely not Has/Tak promo shots, they aren't horribly photoshopped and mistransformed like Hasbro always does and the paint jobs are different from Takara's. Robotkingdom took these of Hasbro figures they have in-hand.

I would love to see these before Christmas because then we'd actually have a hope of seeing them in decent quantities. Alas, Wave 2 is just barely hitting up here in Canada so I doubt we'll see these soon, if at all. Although, back East they're just now getting PRiD Deluxe wave 2, so maybe there's hope.

I just noticed Air Raid's faction symbol is upside down in alt mode.

I just gotta say that Kickback is the only one I actually wish was SMALLER. :P

I like the FoC molds of Optimus Prime, Jazz, and Shockwave, so these retools/repaints are a welcome thing to me. Kickback looks nice and I am very much liking the modularity of some of the weapon accessories.

nice figures. an improvement from the previous releases. my only concern is starscream. based on it's transformation, it has shoulders like the one from the classics line, but will it have a hollow chest when viewed from the sides in robot mode? i like the figure but i don't like any hollowness in the chest area like the first edition cliffjumper, which have a huge gaping hole when viewed from the side.

I wasn't happy that Magnus comes with a massive sword and no gun - and then I saw what that sword can really do! Wow, that's cool.

What? You wish the others also had lame weapons?

I predict a run of Shrapnels that can't hold up their own weapons.

Since we're getting Sideswipe who wasn't (as far as I can recall) in the game any chance we'll get a Sunstreaker repaint?

Sideswipe was in both games' story modes. Playable in WFC, non-playable in FOC (he piloted the ship that dropped off and picked up Jazz and Cliffjumper).
