I was aware that was Gerwalk from Macross, but I forgot what that mode was called.

That's why I thought it was funny. But I do not like Macross, and honestly never will. I do not care how G1 Jetfire came about.

Well that is more transforming giant robots for me.

I mean it isn't like Bandai and gang are much better at giving us jet transformers than Has/Tak.

Seriously, you should do an essay on why Macross is irrelevant to Transformers.

Bonus points on neglecting Kawamori's (the creator of Macross just an fyi I am sure you knew that ) involvement at Takara designing Optimus Prime, Prowl/Smokescreen/Bluestreak, Ironhide/Ratchet, and MP Starscream or the fact that Roller shows up in Macross.

Everybody's talking about the exposed hands, but at least the arms are secreted between the rear wings and don't alter the aerodynamic flow of the jet mode. What I believe are the big giant hips jutting forwards and out to the sides are far more jarring, to the extent that I didn't even notice the hands, because in every picture I was distracted by the hips sticking out like a pair of elephant ears.




Probably still not enough to make me not want to get him, but not the best kibble situation.

I want this! ...as Skyquake. I am not fond of Dreadwing's colors, so I hope Skyquake gets released. soon. mold looks good though. I def. need another f-35 ish jet to place next to breakaway, another of my fav jet-formers. I loved his robot mode. so cool.

Love how accurate this toy is in robot mode. I wonder if there's a way to leave one of those wing flaps hanging out the back to make that slightly more accurate?
