It's very rare for me to find what I'm looking when stopping by a retailer for a visit. Usually it's just waves of Bumblebees, figures I already own, or ones that I do not want. I don't care about the voyager Soundwave/Blaster mold but that Skywarp, yeah. That's the stuff. Really hope they get around to Thundercracker too. I'd really love to get a Sunstorm from that mold as well. You know, just recolor that mold until it falls apart. I'd be cool with that.

I'm finding it difficult to recall, what are the most recent examples of this? Both markets have gotten the Classics seekers. Neither got Animated Thundercracker. Both got Animated Skywarp. Both markets have gotten Masterpiece versions of Skywarp and Thundercracker. I owned both Takara ones and can't get rid of Skywarp to save my life. I don't follow the movie figures too closely. Would that be what you meant?

I guess in essence it is more Skywarp being exclusive to Takara. Transformers Prime Skywarp, DOTM Deluxe Skywarp, Animated Activators Skywarp, Generations Legends Skywarp, and now FoC Skywarp are all Takara exclusives. The last time we got a Skywarp here domestically in Hasbro areas that aren't Kre-O or BotShots was Animated?

I'm certain the last Skywarp that wasn't
Kre-O or
Bot Shots we got was the Wal*Mart exclusive Masterpiece back in late 2009-early 2010.

I didn't think about the current line since Skywarp and Thundercracker don't exist in show. For me, Movie, Activators and Legends aren't on my radar as the "real" toylines. I just gloss over them. You're correct though.

eBay seller lena81822 has listed an auction for Takara Tomy's upcoming Transformers Generations TG-18 Skywarp featuring a series of in-hand images. At the moment we've received no word regarding Hasbro's intentions for Skywarp in the FOC Deluxe mold leaving this version the only option for those looking to complete the classic Seeker trio. Nice. Glad I pre-ordered. Hope we get a Takara Thundercracker, so the Hasbro one can be converted to Triggerhappy.

Initially, I complained that he was too purple, but I've since seen that this is how he is colored in the game too so I retract that.
However, I hope Hasbro puts out a black version anyway. That one could be Skywarp, and then one could be generic seekers.

He both is and isn't game-accurate. He is in that his color set up matches the game, but he isn't in that he uses too much gray that a lot of needs to be closer to black.

Skyward being made purple with gray accents is ass. They took the seeker with the best deco and made it the worst. But look at the bright side...a half-assed color scheme is perfect for a half-assed mold.

I'm just glad that we'll get all the 3 seekers anyway. And good thing they didn't remold the face/wings like in Armada (Why hasbro, that seeker mold was great for that time).
Will be getting him from a local import shop.

MP Blaster needs to be released. As much as i appreciate the release of SoundBlaster and Blaster from this mold, it's not really the aesthetic for me.
I would like something less "pointy" and angular.

I like this blaster but its too big for my classics collection. I want a deluxe sized one. But skywarp needs to ship soon.

This is the first representation of Blaster I've actually considered ordering, but I simply can't get past the fact it's a Soundwave remold. Maybe he's a touch too big as well.
