I always had a hard time removing Scrapper from Devastator's thigh panel. I either stress the plastic tab behind the panel or break off one or both of the pegs. In reference to two bootlegs that I have owned. Is it common in the actual real version?

Opinions aside, you guys do a great job bringing us all the news. :D

Here's the thing. Words have set meanings and definitions. If you choose to ignore them? That's on you and you're swimming against the current because you chose that. Transformers is a brand that is owned outright by Hasbro and Takara/Tomy. Products made by them are officially licensed product. Every one else doing their own thing? They don't have any controlling interest of the brand whatsoever and are completely unofficially released product based on the intellectual property owned by others. I'm not knocking them for doing what they do. Many 3rd party items are great. It doesn't change the fact that it's 3rd party stuff though.

Wouldnt you agree that the so called "3rd parties" have dominated 2011 and made Hasbro nothing more than an afterthought ? (for classics collectors, not movieverse)

When people constantly make upgrades for Hasbro products out of a garage, what does it hint ? At best, it hints Hasbro products need serious inprovements. On paper, anybody can own anything. But this new influx of "Transformers Themed Companies" runs the show.

We're here to talk about Encore Devastator, discussion about third parties can move elsewhere starting now.

Be warned: Mixmaster is reported headless in many sets. How could such a big QC issue get past Takara :|

Well that's no good. To answer your question, you must not have been around for the book style reissues. There were a few figures that had some bad QC. This is nothing new.

Mine arrived on Saturday past. This is the first time I've owned him, as i always wanted him as a kid. So glad I held off for as long as I did as I'm really impressed with him.
