I'm really over going on hunts and coming up empty handed. It definitely takes the fun out of collecting when there is nothing to collect
I'm glad as hell I ordered the Vehicon when I did as it looks like we will never see it in a retail store, which is bullshit. Anymore I am ordering what I feel would be hopeless trying to find, sure it may cost a few more bucks but at least I have it, and I feel my time is worth something, so I'm not wasting it chasing a figure you will most likely never see..
I did receive notice my three FOC figures shipped, should have them Monday. I assume Shockwave will be another htf figure.
Last rant I have is the growing price on the shrinking toys. We're now paying $15 for a large 'scout' size figure. Wtf is Hasbro thinking?! I've been collecting TF's since the 90's and this hobby has really changed. You used to get the value for your money. I have to laugh, back when I ordered my Brave Max I thought $100 for it was outrageous, but went ahead and got it as I always wanted FM. Now we're paying $100 for deluxe size third party figures and not batting an eye. It makes collecting a lot less fun when you are so limited by price
I don't know about the rest of you guys but I have to badly want a figure to spend that kind of money, and can't afford to get many of them. Hercules was last time I will spend that sort of money on a figure again.
This hobby used to be a lot of fun...what happened?
