It was so their legs could be used as guns by Metroplex, ala the G1 toy. Also, in the G1 toy, Six Gun's arms were made up of the shoulder mounted guns. These Iron Factory guys will look a little silly with Metroplex wielding them as pistols...
But I sill like them.
Yotsuyasan wrote:Sorry, but that Six-gun is just way too small. Based on this picture that Doctor McGrath shared:
...it may be a 'toon accurate representation of his size compared to Slammer and Scamper, but I need my Six-gun to become guns that scale with Metroplex, not tiny little turrets that plug onto Metroplex and disappear into his vastness.
I'll give them that their Slammer looks cool. Slammer having a robot mode is completely unnecessary but an appreciated touch, none the less. If Slammer was available by himself for an extraordinarily cheep price (like a pipe dream of $10-$15) I might theoretically pick him up. But knowing he will cost more then that, and come with an unnecessary tiny Six-gun, dampens any enthusiasm I may have had considerably. I shall stick with what Before and After is making.
That said... I suppose (assuming the price isn't stupidly high) this will be a decent option for those wanting a Six-gun on a budget, or looking to save room. Hopefully, for those people, this is a good figure when it comes out!

I probably would not use the Sixgun as a character, but as component parts to add armaments to Metroplex.
Plus a few more critters to run around on 'Plex in city mode is always a nice touch.

Yotsuyasan wrote:Wow! While still not for me, this thing has generated a lot of interest quick. Good on Iron Factory, looks like they have a winner!
