Isn't that Bumblebee without helmet pic pre-cgi overlay anyway?

Yep. That, and I think it's actually just a stand in for background shots (like when he's being transported on the truck). I don't think he's animatronic.

Bumblebee's face pre-cgi overlay looks like a skinned Furby.
Post-cgi it looks like a bald troll doll.
In Battle Mode he looks like a retard wearing his safety helmet completely wrong.

I personally think in his case, like Starscream, that it's best to chalk it up to a total loss.

So we're basing a discussion based on a picture that's not even a final pic ...

Bay&Co said "Starscream"'s design wasn't final, and look what happened. There is no point in believing anything that is said by Paramount, because almost every promise made by them to us is broken. How do we truly know it isn't final? :-?

I. Am. Right.

I won't give up, because I won't stand by and watch Bay rape the franchise into a demonic themed ID4 with robots. I know right from wrong and will stand for what I believe. Nothing will make me give up my opinion. My above post was true and valid. There is no proof on your side that it will change, while I have past experience to validate my claim.

As a wiseman once said: "Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics; Even if you win, you're still retarded."

This is reason #1 to concede any point you may make when it's deemed a total loss.

Of course, Bluebullet lacks common sense and reasoning--Probably why he gave his opinion as fact, and why he think he's "Fighting" for a just cause--so we might as well ignore him.

Tkae it like a man, Bluebullet, you're off my radar. Who else is with me?

EDIT: Oh my God, he's turning into Kitty Rose.

The toy is a good representation of the CGI appearance. Do you remember from months ago, how we saw the Apescream prototype and Bay&Co said " Don't worry, it's not final! You haven't seen anything yet!". Fast-forward a few months later and, guess what? It was! If you want what I can guarantee is the final look, look here.

I'm not retarded, Shadowman. I'm smarter than most people my age. I don't care if I'm off your radar, either. I'm not fighting for you.

Aw, he thinks he's smarter. Guess what, so did I! That was proven wrong.

By the way, you're not fighting for anything. You're just bitching about things you can't change on a fan-operated message board.

No, if enough people fight this, it can be at least noted that we, as a fanbase, fought this movie until the end. I'm one of the few here who doesn't give up. As a die-hard Transfan, it's my right. That "prototype art" already has a toy. If you have merchandise made after a look, would you change the look to where it doesn't match the memorabilia?

No, bardus, not everyone hates this movie.

See, some of us are thankful we're even getting a movie. You are pushing it. People like you are the ones who will kill the franchise, with your unwillingness to accept change. You're the ones who scream and bitch and whine until you get what you want. The sad truth is that it's the exact opposite; If we oppose oppose so radically, we'll never ever get anything Transformers again. Hasbro will look at the movie sales, and see that we're so uninterested, that it's not worth continuing.

So open your eyes, it's not all about what you want. If you're so obsessed with people recognizing Transformers as only one style, then you're the one killing this franchise, not Michael Bay.

And that's not my opinion.

Who the hell is Bardus? :???:

I can accept change. The movie isn't change. It is something completely different. Hasbro will look at the movie sales and compare them to the Classics line. Hasbro will go back to the money-making idea. I do like different styles, but when that style fails to represent all that came before and built what it is supposedly "based on", that is when it should be unaccepted. I want a Transformers movie, but this mindless sci-fi movie fails to fall into the catagory of Transformers. A movie for a franchise should represent the franchise, not say, "Let's make everything different. Just for the hell of it."

Change can often result in something completely different.

Megatron to Galvatron anyone? ;;)

Anyhoo ... i'd bother arguing but i'm merely a 25 year fan veteran who only has about 800 TF's and knows next to nothing about TF's. My fan status obviously pales in comparrision to that of Bluebullet so I yield to his obviously superior intelligence and hope that the fandom under the guidance of Bluebullet and people like him result in the greatest TF experience ever on offer because they know what the fans truly like and don't like while people like me are obviously too stupid to realise what's good for us.

I also yield because i've yet to see the final product on anything even though i've liked the majority of what i've seen so far, but again, my opinion is irrelevant because i'm not a true fan like Bluebullet!

oh for f***s sake give it a rest please the same **** was
argued over way back when the first designs appeared, guess
what the movie is in post production, that takes time, time
which they are not going to waste by listening to people this
close to the release of the movie, as they will be busy with
all the cg stuff etc etc

....and if it means that much to you, guess what, nobody is
forcing anyone to go watch it, so either deal with the fact
that you are not going to get your way, or shut the hell up.

and you know what else, i basically stayed out of the movie
forum for most of its entirety due to all the bitchyness,
flaming etc etc going on, plus from what i was told by other
people, ie it being full of hate etc etc.

thats about it from me, flame me if you want i dont really
give a crap as i wont be coming back to this section again
until probably after the movie has been out for at least 2
months.

Finally, here is my stand point. the movie will be out soon,
so how about instead of bitching about it, every one takes a
chill pill and waits until they have actually seen the movie,
if you still hate it, then fine, your opinion will be noted,
but what about the offchance that you like the movie, you
would feel like an arse having to eat a large slice of humble
pie.

(note this is not directed to any one person in paticular, i
implore people as a fellow user to stop going for eachothers
throats and making this place hostile and ****...rational
discussion is one thing. being a dick is something completely
different)

G2 to Beast Wars.

And my point was that none of the G1 changes originating in the original movie were really all that well received, including Galvatron. Beast Wars came about because G2 was a failure, whereas the movie changes were made when G1 was at its peak and they wanted to push new character merchandise.
