Normally I'd say no, I lost interest in G1 after the Classics line started. But if he is your all time fav character, then yes.

I'd say he's worth it. It's a G1 figure, at least his car mode is spot on.

The Encore toy is cheaper.
You could grab the original G1 Ironhide for a cheaper price anyway, unless the manual is important to you. Although, the lowest without a manual wouldn't be drastically lower than $50.

I went ahead and bought it... If I overpaid, I'm still gonna enjoy, and I'm sure my son will too. Even though everytime we watch the animated movie or Dark of the Moon he reminds me he dies... Nothing like having the knife in your heart twisted by an 8 year old.....

Jazz was always a close number 2 with me. At least in the live action movies Jazz went out like a champ, not getting shot in the back doing his duty. But then again, if Ironhide went toe to toe with Sentinel, Ironhide would've slaughtered him thus killing the movie. So I can see why they did that.

Yeah, at least Jazz went out fighting.
Would've been nice if Ironhide had a chance to get a shot or two in though!
That said, how his death played out helped you to really hate SP, which is obviously what they were wanting.
