sometimes fans know & can easily PREDICT stuff. based off similar circomstances & previous cases/examples. as everything seems to run on the same cycle. that more than often keeps repeating itself over & over.

Is sam/shia le bouf, the Wil wheaten/wesley crusher "loathed actor" of the fan base francise?

I remember the most "loathed" by the fans Star trek next generation cast member/actor was wil wheaten/wesley chrusher. to the point the show creaters had to get rid of the guy. due to him mocking the fandom at conventions/interviews. and his poor acting skills in the TV show.

So my question is since the star trek francise fan base has their most loathed actor/cast member.

It is a safe bet to assume sam/shia le bouf is the most loathed actor in the TF fan base, in the films & in interviews? similar to the role the fans of star trek gave wil wheaten.

before sam/shia leo bouf,most TF fans dis-liked the fake fictional daniel character from the 1986 movie,season 3/4 & the japanese headmasters series.

I Suspose the star wars francise has those 2 actors who the fan base dis-likes. the 2 who played anakin skywalker in episodes 1,2 & 3.

Another interesting question I ask everyone in this thread. Can a loathed actor from a high rated francise that is dis-liked by the fans. have any chance at a successful career afterwards doing non-TF related movies/shows?

I ask that above question because usually when a high rated fandom from a francise dis-likes the actor. word gets around,the guy isn't beloved,no one wants to hire him. he's got no fan base. gets more angry letters than positive letters.

Just look at wil wheaten/wesley chrusher from star trek the next generation. the show got rid of him half way thru. he wasn't in any of the star trek movies. he was in poor rated/low budget un-noticeable movies/shows.

The star wars episodes one,two & three, actors who both played anakin skywalker are rumored to be black listed,can't find work. and got told off by fans at star wars conventions for almost ruining the star wars francise. thanks to their bad acting skills.

I honestly think the only real reason shia got put in several movies other non-TF movies while filming transformers 2007,rotf & dotm. is because micheal bay asked & put in favors to dreamworks & steven spielberg to please hire shia leo bouf. in that indy movie & wall street movie. all in a desperate attemp to pump up shia le bouf's acting resume,so viewers would be impressed & go see the 2007,ROTF & Dotm Movies. thinking their was a high profile actor doing these TF movies. SADLY that strategy back fired since shia leo bouf's bad acting skills got mocked in that indy movie & that wall street movie.

Without micheal bay putting in & asking for favors to dreamworks & steven spielberg. Shia le bouf won't get anymore high rated movie offers. SURE he'll get some movie offers but they'll be so low budget productions it'll ruin his acting career if he accepts them.

I just don't see shia leo bouf getting any high profile high budget movie deals in the distant future. where he carries a movie all by himself & is the lead star.

Shia le bouf will most likely get SAFE ACTING CAREER MOVIE ROLES. where he's not the lead/main star. like he did in that indy & wall street movie.

I just don't see shia leo bouf transferring that well to college groupies type movies. where there are 5 cool guys & 5 cool girls that have mis-adventures in college or on jobs. Shia le bouf's,doesn't seem like a perfect fit for these movies. due to him not being that popular among the in-crowds. he's no freddy prince,no wil smith.

It's funny you mention that as when I was watching Dotm I was thinking to myself how much he looks like Will Wheaton with his current hair cut heh.

I can only assume you mean "loathed" in which case ... maybe, but I don't think "Le Bouf" will sound as good as "Wheaton" when screamed in rage by Sheldon Cooper.

I don't think Shia Leouf is the Wesley of the franchise, I think he's the loathed actor of everything he appears in.

Shia seems like he's always late for something.
I would have much preferred Justin Long, or even Wil Wheaten over Shia.

One thing that suprised me with DotM was my reaction of Shia's first scene.

I heard the voice, then saw the face and thought "oh yeah, that's right, douchebag is in this movie".

For some reason it had completely skipped my mind that he was in it, and when I realised it my first thought was to think of him as a douchebag.

The comparison is a bit harsh. Because (some/several) Transformers fans wouldn't like Shia, he wouldn't be able to get work anyone? Seems a bit like 8-ball predictions.

Let's just see how he fares.

I hated the role, even before "The Beef" began playing it. I liked the beef in the movies on and off. He was funny, played the roll, brought a certain air of uniqueness to it and thats that.

As for his whole "HAI GUISE! GUESS WOT!? I BANGED MEGAN FOX WHILE I WAS ACTING IN TRANZFERMORZ!!!" Yes, that was a real stupid thing for him to do. Nobody cares that he banged the hot chick on the set, but rubbing some salt into that wound that was her getting booted out of the 3rd movie because Spielberg is trash, has-been... This made me lose tons of respect for "The Beef".

TL;DR - I wouldn't make an effort to get his autograph or even meet him if he was at a Botcon, nor would i go outta my way to watch any of his movies that didn't involve a subject-matter I was interested in.

From my understanding from reading all the botcon official panel reports & on-line q & a interviews. micheal bay,steven spielberg, & the 3 writters of the movies SAID THE ROLE OF SAM & HIS SITUATIONS WERE BUILT AROUND THE ACTORS SHIA LE BOUF ONLY 1-d Comedic acting skills.

In other words Shia le bouf didn't step into a role that was already established for someone else for the TF movies,this role was tailored for him & being constanty tailored for him. Because miheal bay keeps saying he's funny & can lighten up the TF movies with his comedic talents & quirky reactions.
