I've got a great idea for you. Don't go see the next movie in theaters, don't buy it or rent it when it comes out, and don't buy the merchandise. Go watch the '86 movie and buy some G1 reissues. There. It's that simple. No one's forcing you to watch the damn thing or pay for it.
Now if you don't mind I can't wait for Transformers 4
directed by Michael Bay to come out in two years. I will be very unhappy if you ruin it for me, and so will the millions of other people who are highly anticipating it.

I wouldn't. It would be trite and uncreative. I already watched the G1 series. It's fun and retro, but I don't need more of it. If or when they do a reboot I hope it's something completely different from this movie series and every other Transformers continuity. Transformers doesn't need 80's retro to thrive. It's time for everyone to just move on.
