Hiya guys,

Shopping around on ebay and looking at Takara Tomy Masterpiece Optimus Prime Convoy (MP-04) I came across 2 listings, that seem really iffy and consider this an alert/warning to fellow ebay buyers:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TOMY-MAS ... 2a2069f3b7

http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TOMY-MAS ... 232009fec6

Different user accounts, but exactly the same listing just with a different price, and the price is extremely low for a $300-$400 masterpiece, plus free postage internationally and he has 0 feedback and supposely had 97 units on hand for each auction.

What's your opinion guys?

I'd say report them both with the note that the descriptions and images are the same between the two, thus may be suspect.

Id also say scam!

The same expensive items taken in the same place with the same camera and then to make it even more obvious the seller has created 2 new accounts from the same location 2 days apart! More than coincidence? I think not!!

I will keep a watch on these just so I know what happens with the sale/seller.

I would even go so far to say I bet one account will be used to shill bid on the other!!
I have added a link below for info regarding shill bidding and other such naughty Ebay activities!

Looks like the listings were pulled down, looking into the history and checking for new masterpiece convoys and it's like it was never there. I wonder if the people who tried to buy the toy will get their money back. I'll keep this forum posted if i see any new listings that seem suspicious.
