Look at what Anakin did through the final story arc; he's the only person to have full trust in Ahsoka, and went very far out of his way to make sure she was proven innocent. (Well, Barriss trusted her too, but not out of faith) And at the end, he's devastated because he's still losing her.

If Anakin's selfishness got Ahsoka killed, even accidentally, it would be a step away from the Dark Side, since it would pound the lesson into his head that "selfishness is bad."

I'm not sure he would feel that way. Anakin tends to rationalize his decisions, so I can see him telling himself that it wasnt his fault.

I don't recall any situation where he blamed someone else for something he did, but then maybe I'm not that well versed in the EU. I do know Vader has a serious case of self-hatred, and the first thing he said after Mace Windu died was "What have I done?"

Personally ... this last story arc highlighted just how bad the prequels were.

We saw much more emotion from Anakin and the loss of Ahsoka seemed to be more devastating to him than the loss of his own wife and unborn children.

Part of my was hoping Ahsoka would die just to give Anakin that harder push, but turning her back on the Order just gives reason for him to question it even more.

I know the new movies will most likely avoid all post-ROTJ EU, so I'm kinda hoping she appears to help guide Luke as he rebuilds the Jedi Order.

Yet Star Wars is not as good as Logan's Run.

That's sort of a central theme in Clone Wars: Matt Lanter is infinitely better as Anakin than Hayden Christiansen.

I still like the original star wars trilogy though.

I own all of these 4 movies on VHS including Logan's run.

Let's just go with new breed of spambot and ignore it.

Yeah but like most things, it still comes back on the writers.

This last season may have had some rather lackluster arcs (sorry R2, but you're little droid squad got boring) but arcs like Ahsoka's and the Obi-Wan/Mandalore arc really made up for them.

These are the people that need to be writing the movies.

The season has been hit-and-miss. It was either really boring (Please get off Onderon already!) or mind-blowingly amazing. (Sidious vs. Maul and Savage) On the other hand, they did have that shout-out to Republic Commando, that made the whole Droid Squad thing worth it.

That really is the first time we've seen Sideous close to being fully unleashed isn't it?

And then suddenly it makes sense how he was able to wipe the floor with four Jedi Masters. (Or wipe the floor with three, then pull his punches against the fourth so he can have Anakin finish the job) I think part of it comes from, being a CG model, he's not constrained by having an old man as an actor.
