Is anyone else in Japan having difficulties finding Henkei Hound? He whipped off the shelves in Nagoya before I could get one. Encore Hoist & Trailbreaker, along with Henkei Cheetor are out and about.

I'm having trouble finding the latest line of ROTF in Japan. I've seen a number of Scattorshots, Deluxe Ratchets and Lockdowns but I've only seen one Brawn at a ludicrous markup (which I bought) and I haven't seen a single Skystalker or Mindwipe despite looking around a lot. Can anyone help me out on this?

Good news for Japanese Seibertronians (so...er...me and Tokyo Matrix): some incredibly popular and quickly sold-out ROTF figures are getting re-released in July, namely Brawn, Bludgeon, Skystalker, Mindwipe and HA Barricade.

My fiancee will be flying to Japan soon and offered to help me with my TF addiction by chekcing out some toy stores in Tokyo. Does anyone know of any shops there? Location? Name? Any information would be most appreciated.

It depends on whether you're after new or vintage toys.
There are many branches of Toys R Us, Bic Camera, Yodobashi Camera and Ito Yokado around Tokyo which would have the latest figures. For vintage figures she would have to go to Akihabara. If you want to give more details on what you're looking for and what rough area she would be living in I'll be happy to help.

Thanks, Diem!
She's a flight attendant, so she'll be flying into Narita and I assume she'll stay somewhat near there. Mostly, she'll be looking for new TT figures for me. Especially the eHobby Autobot/Decepticon 3-packs. Also, random question, but do Japanese TRU's stock TT or Hasbro figures?

Hmmm...I may have to burst some of your bubbles here. Narita is unfortunately a little way away from Tokyo itself. I don't know if she would be traveling into the city itself between flights. There is a toy store in Narita's departure lounge that carries a small selection of TF toys but I don't recall the name. There is another store there called Mini-Akihabara or Micro-Akiba or something like that that sometimes carries a few figures too.
The e-Hobby three packs are unfortunately not available at general retail. They are online-order only. Or they may be stocked in certain hobby shops. I recommend
http://www.mandarake.co.jp/en/shop/ for hobby matters.
Japanese Toys R Us stock Takara figures only. The only places to get Hasbro figures are import stores and hobby stores.

I merged your topic with the official Japan sightings topic. Happy hunting!
